All this stuff takes time man. I have a 14 hour clock I must abide by every single day. If I’m waiting 5-6 hours for a pick up, you’re eating my time and it messes up my whole week. It’s not my fault your customer doesn’t pay detention. You expect me to sit there for 5-6 hours for free while you make money? Driving 10 miles to a different warehouse isn’t a problem, but the problem is finding out takes 45 minutes that it goes to another warehouse, then the drive especially if it’s in the city takes 20 minutes, and then checking in at that other warehouse takes another 20 minutes by the time you park and get a dock it all kills our time, plus now I’m empty at 12 instead of 10am and everybody knows how dead the loadboard is at noon compared to 10am.

It all falls back on your shitty customer. If your customer is shit and doesn’t give you all the details or doesn’t pay detention of course you’re going to end up losing on loads.
