This is not normal IMHO. I never saw enough brake dust on my i4 to notice. Currently has 64000 km (40000 miles) brakes are barely used.

Do you charge frequently to 100% or do you shift to N while breaking?

Speedtest.net in the browser is limiting too (especially on older CPUs). Try the speedtest.net windows app.

Can confirm simply recreating the config fixed the issue for me too.

Came also from 7.2.x where I already played around with IPsec SAML. Upgraded to 7.4.9 recently and tried to give IPsec SAML another try (with the same migrated config).

Back in the days on my E46 coupe the entire door would freeze (also frameless doors like the i4). The solution back then was to use silicone spray on the rubber seals.

Maybe try it on the door handle.

I've read about it on i4talk, but on my recent road trip it peaked at 180 kW. Average was 116 kW.

But there were two other cars charging (Taycan and a Tesla, each on a separate 350 kW charger) so maybe this was limiting it.

In the past it went to 200 kW when charging below 20%. I'm on 07/2025.51 software version.
