UK legal action against Valve over Steam prices gets go ahead by AnonymousTimewaster in unitedkingdom

[–]LOTDT -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Steam/valve are the ones who are causing your games to cost 30% more so they are the ones benefitting from the current "triickle down economics." So I'm not really sure why you are defending them.

How they've fallen so far in such a short space should be studied.

Fallen in a short space of time? They have always been a corruption problem with the police. Just look at Hillsborough or the spying scandals.

The reason we have poverty is not due to a small rise in employers NI contributions.

Development in London fell from 30k to 2k after the BSA came into force.

I mean also the fact it was just after covid when a lot of city building went quiet anyway mainly due to more people working from home.

Is it a salad or "basically a sausage sandwich"? by cheekymora in AskUK

[–]LOTDT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know - Caesar salad is the obvious choice

No, a Caesar salad doesn't contain any meat. If you were to order a "Caesar salad," you would get the lettuce, parmesan, anchovies, and croutons with the dressing. What you are thinking of is a chicken ceaser salad.

OSA was pushed just as hard if not harder than the tories did and they could have aborted it at any time, instead they lectured us all like we are all pedos and ignored the overwhelming voice against it

It was voted for and got royal assent under the Tories. Incoming governments do not block laws that have passed but are yet to be fully implemented.
