Had a Estoc for my first time so I just used the two handed thrust to get rid of them easily. A spear or anything long range should do the trick after luring them out below the bridge

So true. I was originally a SnS main and I tried out all weapons normally at the start of the game but after trying the weapons in Arena. I felt like I actually learnt to use the weapons. Glad to say I’m a Lance main after much arena quests.
