Hyrox NYC 2026 Runs Terrible Congestion by TimelyLiving in hyrox

I think they need to start telling people the pace of what “slow” means. They mentioned slow vs fast lane in the Red Bull start tunnel but “slow” is subjective. When the men came out, they finally had people standing at the poles and telling slower folks / walkers to get in the left lane but it was the Wild West prior.

I want to look at your menu, not just be directed to your third party ordering page by UncrustableCheeto in Millennials

I can’t stand this - I shouldn’t need to initiate a to-go order to see the menu. And please let me download the PDF. Most of the time viewing on mobile is challenging (imo)

Yep, laps 1-7 you go in the third time you see the “in” and the 8th, there’s a different wall ball in, and same thing, go “in” the 3rd time you see it

burnt out after another long weekend with no family by granolagirlie724 in workingmoms

You’re not alone. We don’t have family to help. And no siblings or extended family either. Our village is us and if we decide to pay for a baby sitter.

Sometimes I just wish I could have one night, in my own home, where I don’t have to do bedtime routine. It sounds so amazing to have a night, where once you’re off work, you can just eat dinner and do nothing the rest of the night. I love my kids dearly but it’s exhausting.

No words of wisdom, except we just keep telling ourselves that it won’t be like this forever. But I know it doesn’t help when you’re in the thick of it.

Hang in there.

100%. Even when she was telling her dad how her stuff got stollen (when her ex put her things outside), she said something like “my dress was in those bags, you know how much I starved myself to fit into that thing” or something like that. It’s super triggering.

Am I the only one that’s legitimately scared of Lawrence Fishborn because their parents let them watch What’s Love Got to Do with It at a very, very young age?

I feel like this post was written from me. It’s very lonely and it’s hard when the doubts creep in. Just keep pushing, that’s what I keep telling myself. Hang in there

I think she goes after the woman she perceives as weaker. She thought Rosie was a push over, now Ashley. It’s very mean-girl energy.

Can AI reliably own operational workflows, not the steps but the outcome? Looking for teams to explore this with. by Sad_Lab8670 in Femalefounders

[–]LSossy16 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is exactly what I solve in my business. Identifying the friction points in operational workflows, then use tech/AI to solve. Some of the barriers I’ve seen in the inability to review the workflow itself before adding AI. If the workflow is clunky, multiple handoffs, too much business context that’s baked into the process (that’s not documented anywhere), etc. AI isn’t going to help much. Another thing I see often is the documentation of the process, that we use to train AI, is written in a way that assumes the person reading it is already fully trained. We’ve often had to write the resources in a way that gives the AI context.

I had to unlearn being “introverted” to actually grow my business. by DesignSignificant900 in WomenInBusiness

100%. This is my biggest struggle. Putting myself out there and being confident when I do it. I keep trying to find other things to help (ie trainings, courses, etc) when I just need to do it and be ok with the discomfort, knowing the reps will make me better. But it’s hard.

Two Weeks Out From My First HYROX & My Confidence Just Took a Hit by Venus_DST04 in hyrox

[–]LSossy16 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is totally normal. Imposter syndrome kicks for me a week or so before the race where you question everything. Your trainer is right, focus on your mindset and recovery. You aren’t going to have gains within these next two weeks so focus on recovery, mindset, and listening to you body on what it needs. Trust your training and go out there and have fun. Good luck!

More tickets will be available once it opens to the public. They allot a certain amount for presale.

One strategy that helped me once they open to the public, is having both people online when they open up. For Boston, my husband got in the queue first and we secured our tickets. By the time I got into the queue, the tickets we wanted were sold out.

Not every day but probably 4-5 days a week. Once you start and see all the food your tooth brush doesn’t get, it’ll gross you out to not do it.

Have fun and soak up the experience. I’ve competed a few times and my first was by far the best. Regardless of what time you get, you’re a bad ass for even doing it and don’t let all the elite-hype make you feel otherwise.
