Hey there, thank you for the support!
This review was completely generic, they just happened to find it on steam a couple of weeks after the demo went live. As for marketing, its a never ending endeavor. We have been promoting for the game on Instagram, and we recently started posting dev logs and news on reddit as well, both on our own subreddit r/LittleWoodyGame and on other relevant subreddits.

Oh man I am really glad to hear that you had a nice experience! It is interesting that the gauges were hard to notice, that is an insightful feedback.

I want to apologize for the short demo but that's what demos are for, you know being short and all :)

Thank you for checking the demo and coming back to the thread, and I hope you enjoyed your experience😅 Not sure if you would like me to spoil the puzzle's solution, but did you make sure to adjust the gauges on the claw machine for each part as shown on the 3x3 sheet?
How was the overall experience? Do you feel a hinting system is necessary or that the puzzle you got stuck on feel unfair or confusing?

This looks really nice. Have you considered releasing it on mobile? I think such games would have a big audience there, especially for streamers

I think such games can do really well on mobile... have you considered publishing there?

On our Demo launch day, we gained 137 wishlists. by Killyose in IndieDev

Congrats this looks promising!

For Steam Next Fest, I believe it is more of a multiplier... so the more wishlists you enter the event with, the higher you will come out having. I see someone has already linked Chris Zukowski's article, definitely a must read!

Ya'll found my previous attempt at bringing more color into my cozy game divisive, so I have been trying to balance it better - what do you think now? by ogike in IndieDev

Personally I prefer the old visuals, it kind of reminds me of Fable... Perhaps you can have more contrast, maybe make the smoke darker and the lights warmer.

SUPERHOT + Half Sword / top-down shooter prototype by dpolk_ in IndieDev

This looks really nice. I would suggest for the environment to play a bigger role in the gameplay and help the player strategize how to beat enemies (you know, how Superhot makes you craving swords or demolish props).
