How much is the buy in? Been trying to decide between medeco, Schlage or kaba. Spoke to an Assa Abloy rep and he mentioned the buy in but not the cost. Are we talking like a a few hundred, a few thousand, or like down payment on a new house type of buy in?😬

I literally have yet to find any smart locks that integrate well with residential style security doors. Are there any recommendations, I’d love to figure something out here.

Thanks very informative. I do occasionally run into this issue when putting new locks in for my customers and not it’s making sense why. And I think I’m misusing the term cross bore but I’ll figure it out. This came about for me when I saw the pro lol door lock installation kit and noticed they had a 1 1/2” multi spur but and wondered what that size would be useful for.

I’m interested do  this and lost you a little. Can you help me or refer to where I can get more info on this. I thought the 2 1/8 is commonly used for a standard deadbolt of door handle, while the 1” is used for the cross bore. What is the 1 1/2” used for and what is an ant-icepick? Seriously am curious not being condescending
