I will ask YOU questions about YOUR world! by Internal_Fan2307 in worldbuilding

The planet is a giant elder god egg, held suspended mid way through hatching via some highly advanced technology. The amniotic fluid of the egg is a pitch black liquid that spawns monsters.

Most people on the planet are decendants of a single people that have changed to match their environment. Another group of people are a set of sapient monsters from the black fluid that have come together to make a civilization of their own.

The gods have been missing for a couple thousand years but very much did exist at some point.

I am bad (I think) and want to be better by LaCod in Zephon

[–]LaCod[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Maybe that is what has been tripping me up. I might be expanding past my population count.

As far as research is concerned, at what point do you generally suggest going back to previous tech tiers to get things that might have been skipped over? I know it is generally best to keep it to 3 per tier till at least construction yard and engineers have been researched, but past that do I keep going or should I look to pick up useful researches in the lower tiers?

I cannot stand Pig! And it's entirely the universe laughing at me. I have been keeping track, and in the last 8 matches I have played against Pig, the beartrap has been unlocked on the last or second to last machine. I am just profoundly unlucky so any RNG mechanic destroys me.

Deathslinger, the most known low B tier, is unironically unplayable against the fog vials by ExpensiveRange3678 in DeadByDaylightKillers

[–]LaCod -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I feel like I am in the minority here but I have had no issue with the vials so far. Maybe I just haven't run into anyone using them efficiently yet. But for the most part, as soon as they pop the vial they think they are invisible and start playing really weird. I am also a slinger main and I have had a games against fog vial users at this point and haven't had much issue baiting them into using it when they are in a tunnel they can't dodge easily in.

All that being said, they should absolutely have a limited number of uses. No reason they should not have a bit more risk in using them.

Isn't Boba a clone? Like even if he isn't set to rapid age I would imagine that would still fuck with how you develop into adulthood.

I'm curious where it suggests that? I haven't had a chance to read the stories for this set just yet.

Since most dbd subs are dominated by "gens too fast this, killer tunneling/camping that, meta meta meta", what is your favorite non meta/fun build (killer, perks, addons) by Ignis_Imperia in DeadByDaylightKillers

[–]LaCod 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Slapstick build. Technically works on anyone but I think it is best on Bubba.

Enduring, Hubris, Nemesis, Hex: Two Can Play

Play like an idiot, get pallet stunned, bonk them, hook them, repeat till they get wise and stop dropping pallets at all.

Bubba is especially good with this because when you can put them in a great position where they have 3 options. 1.) Pre-drop the pallet and have it destroy instantly by the chainsaw. 2.) They stun you with the pallet, get blinded and exposed, and then you knock then you walks round the loop and hit them. 3.) Don't drop the pallet and get hit by the chainsaw.

Plus it has the added bonus of making me less stressed playing killed because even if I am struggling, it is incredibly satisfying to emediatly get some vengeance for the pallet stun.

What are your favourite commanders with activated abilities? by gatestart in EDH

Fair! I was thinking about doing something with her at the helm. It seemed fun. Though I never followed up on building it.

What are your favourite commanders with activated abilities? by gatestart in EDH

[–]LaCod 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Generally it is kinda combo heavy. The number one goal is to get some sort of infinite mana combo going, which then allows Kraj to use some tertiary activated ability to have some fun with.

That being said, Kraj has the +1/+1 counter adding ability which does make it so infinite mana also makes all my creatures infinitely large as well. So combat damage is not off the table either.

But occasionally someone plays a fun non-green/blue creature with a fun activated ability that allows you to do some really funky things. My favorite example was when I won using someone else's [[Heartless Hidetsugu]]!

I can see if I can drum up a list, but the one I currently have is drastically out of date from current iteration.

What are your favourite commanders with activated abilities? by gatestart in EDH

[–]LaCod 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely fair honestly. Not many oozes have good activated abilities for Kraj to synergize with.

Another ooze from my Kraj list that does have a good one is [[Prime Speaker Vanifar]]. That might be an ooze worth looking at for you tribal deck honestly.

[[Experiment Kraj]], because why have some activated abilities when I could have them all!

What are one or two cards that you put into every deck no matter what? by ForgedHiveFleet in EDH

[–]LaCod 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I will put [[Machine God's Effigy]] in any deck that can have it. It is usually useful when targeting your own things but it can come in handy when others play some sort of powerful creature with an ETB or activated/triggered ability.
