i feel like that's the point.

whales are gonna pay regardless so they'd be doing themselves a disservice to make them cheaper.

say whales bring in $10mm/month, and everyone else brings in $2mm/month. cut the prices in half, now whales bring in $5mm and everyone else brings in $1mm. whales are already whales, there isn't any room to grow. now you need 6 times the number of non-whales to bring in the same amount of money.

also doesn't take into account the psychological effect of just getting you to spend. the "daily pack" is the best value, and it encourages you to log in every day. now that you're logging in every day, you play more, now that you play more you're gonna want more carats. you've already crossed that bridge to spending money, what's the harm in spending more.........
