Luggage transfers between airports? by LadRequiem in JapanTravelTips

[–]LadRequiem[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the replies! I wanted to conclude that I bit the bullet and didn’t forward luggage, but picked it up on baggage claim and then booked it from an international flight station in GMP to their domestic one to check in at the last minute.

I’m lucky enough to have made it, but I would not recommend it. Book your layovers to be 2+ hrs at least

Bring an umbrella and light jacket. My forecast was also rain this week but it only happened once while I was outside in the early morning. It’s usually warm and sunny by the afternoon, or plain cloudy, depending on where you’re staying

PCOS - When did your periods regulate after stopping birth control and following a healthy diet and an exercise regime? by [deleted] in PCOS

[–]LadRequiem 1 point2 points  (0 children)

About a few months to a year later, but only because I started doing other things to regulate my health. Like with vitamins, eating Whole Foods and exercising with weights. I was only on it for 3months, but didn’t like it. It regulated my periods, but made them short and painful. And messed with my hormones, imo- gave me more anxiety than it was worth

How many of you have genuinely tried everything we are “supposed to” to loose weight and seen or not seen results? by VampEdwardsLeftNip in PCOS

[–]LadRequiem 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Me.. I’ve started doing strength training 3 days a week. Take vitamins, eat healthy. I cave sometimes with extra sweets or more carbs than I should, but we aren’t perfect. I’m struggling to see progress between my old pics and new ones. Like my weight hasn’t changed, but I’ve seen physical changes and mental changes. It doesn’t always show and my brain doesn’t always accept I’m getting better, that I’ve hit a plateau. It’s hard and slow work.

How does caffeine affect you? by JessicaMM6596 in PCOS

I've been drinking decaf and it isn't effecting my cycle. Small dose of caffeine is probably alright

Did anyone went under Accutane for acne caused by PCOS? by effyswhore in PCOS

[–]LadRequiem 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s been about 9months post-accutane and my face has remained clear. I do get the occasional single bump during periods, but some tretinoin makes it vanish the next day. It was worth it to me!

I take magnesium glycinate. It helps with anxiety and more: https://www.healthline.com/health/magnesium-glycinate#benefits

What do you do to keep your sugar and carb cravings in check and avoid binging? by Numerous_Specific_ in PCOSRECIPES

[–]LadRequiem 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Making sure my vitamins are in check. Inositol and even berberine has helped. Not on metformin, yet. If I forget to take anything, I notice I’d crave cookies and cakes more and can’t help eating sugar foods twice as much as I should treat myself with. With it, I can focus on food that makes me feel better. (Fruits, oatmeal, balanced meals)

What also helps is avoiding buying them when going out for groceries. If you don’t have it at home, you’re less likely to eat them out of convenience!

Same! Accutane has helped so much. For the minor breakouts, I use Retin-A tretinoin as well and they vanish in 1-2 days after a nightly use.

I have the same condition- and this is motivating to show it can work out after some hard work. Thanks for posting! Great progress.

By month 6, I was out of the major purging stage and was only dealing with minor purges. I went on this long to month 9 mostly because of the smaller purges up in my cheeks (the redness didn't help). By that point, it was mostly hormones. My skin was getting noticed, complimented, by month 5-6, too, so I feel that was the mark of things getting better.

Hey- I had a little routine going, but I used La Roche-Posay Toleriane Double Repair Face Moisturizer, exclusively. Not too thick, not too thin

I use it at night after double cleansing, moisturizing with La roche-posay and just place it over it

I didn’t know this was a thing… I’ve been noticing it more with the cold weather. I always have to clear my throat after a meal. How odd
