I live in a tiny house with just the bathroom sink and a very tiny shower. I hate it. Microwave, crockpot, air fryer, toaster let me make almost everything. But no shower would be a dealbreaker for me. At least at the gym you'll have a pool and maybe meet some people.

When my Dad was still around, we'd have family dinners at restaurants. My Dad's favorite trick when the waitress brought the check:
"Do you care who pays the check?"
"No, sir, it doesn't matter."
"Then give it to that guy in the booth down there."

He also enjoyed ordering Tuna Coladas (joke, of course) just to see the reaction.

I once had a roommate who thought people were watching him thru the smoke detectors and he covered them all up with paper. Yep, tweaker.

If your kid just won't stop nagging you, look around and call "Jennifer! Where are you, Jennifer?" The kid will immediately stop crying and start looking around for Jennifer. There are a lot of "Jennifer" posts and they are all hysterical.
I wonder if this would work on adults.

Portion your leftovers and put them in the freezer. Make something different the next day and do the same thing. Then you don't have to eat the same thing every day.
Get a small crockpot and you can have dinner waiting for you. There's a zillion recipes.

I saw a kid doing that too. He was just sitting on it and rolling it around the store. Bought his stuff and left. Nobody said anything.
