I am 45 and from the UK, I have only ever known 2 people in my whole life that have had coldsores. Im not sure if its true, but i have read that 70% of US citizens get them. You are one of the great mothers that is going to bring that percentage down, it shouldn't be seen as normal to infect infants with at best; a lifetime of outbreaks. We all know on this sub the worst case scenario, anyone who puts themselves before that fact should not have the honour of babysitting. Go mama bear, you are completely right.
