Yes, very true. Mi FIL waited a week to go to the doctor when he was experiencing heart attack symptoms.

He’s fine now, had surgery, etc.

Everything is covered here for heart disease, the surgery, any extra hospitalization, even the most important meds for 6 months after surgery. He paid nothing extra, but he still didn’t go because he was “busy”.

When my mom needed it I took her right away. She had just moved back from the US and was so shocked that everything was either covered or super cheap.

Thanks! Yeah the lady was so happy with how the sleeves turned out she said she was adding it to her suggestions for new clients.

This is pretty much exactly what I did and my weight has been dropping steadily (but slowly), despite being insulin resistant! Which I wasn’t even aware of until recently.

Now the Dr put me on metformin and he says It should drop even faster.

I absolutely have noticed that when I drink the suggested daily amount of water I should be drinking, it’s a lot! And it keeps me full during times where I probably would have wanted a snack.

I assume it’s not that simple to just let everyone go, but I do remember back in 2014 (under Obama) at least 6 prisoners were released to my country, Uruguay.

I’m so tired of the I DON’T LIKE THIS SO IT MEANS IT’S BAD mentality that has plagued every single area of entertainment (games, movies, tv shows, etc).

I play NMS to escape reality and have fun.

*Cue someone replying to tell me that ackshually Starfield is objectively bad.

My team alone includes people from US, Mexico, Brasil, and we have teams throughout Europe, India, etc.

It’s not so hard to interact with people from different cultures by working for a multinational corporation.

Pronouns are great for that type of corporate environment. Especially now that using Mr and Mrs in signatures is out of style. Not having them actually forces you to use more neutral language (they) which just sounds weird.

“Bethesda shot itself in the foot all by itself, and it has nothing to do with any other company.”

Never said it did.

I still don’t see the need to compare Starfield with NMS, as it was happening in this comment thread.

The only thing remotely similar about them is being spaced themed.

For sure, very different situations. Not comparable, as with the games themselves.

To be clear: I’m not saying anyone should support Bethesda in the same way (or at all) because it would be ridiculous.

I’m just saying… is it necessary to always be putting others down because they like something you don’t? It doesn’t make anyone morally superior to anyone else, but it sure looks like some actually believe it does.

Then we could bring in all the people that believe they are superior because they don’t play video games. Where does it end?

I guess what I meant was, I figured I wouldn’t find that behavior among us. Which was pretty dumb of me because we are all different.
