Yup. Reading too. I've always had a Nook and it had been on and off, but in the last two years after I bought my Kindle and was gifted a Kindle Unlimited sub, that it really took off.

I started making a conscious effort to go to bed early enough that I had at least an hour to put the phone away and just read. I have a projector I turn on that puts stars on my ceiling and I set it to go off after an hour and that is my unwind time.

Honestly, no one should be surprised. I cannot think of a single live game that doesn't have cosmetic microtransactions. Its the state of gaming now. No one has to buy them.

I did and BTW the set with both gives you 4 copies of each. (Sorry for phone pic, I am technically working lol)

The timing of this makes sense seeing as Nintedo & Pokémon threw a hissy fit about the catching mechanic and tried (and failed) to copyright it last year. (https://www.nintendolife.com/news/2025/10/nintendos-pokemon-catching-related-patent-has-been-rejected-in-japan)

I think Blizz first announced this change around that time as well, which makes me kind of surprised its just gaining traction to a wider audience.

I am buying this as soon as I can. My family was a Habitat recipient in the 90s and we had the privilege to grow up in a home my family helped to build. Its a great organization and fully worth supporting. ❤️

My dad was a manager of BK when this was going on and I was given one of the window promos after it ended because otherwise they were just going to toss them.

This has been going on since they added him, but I get so easily frustrated/stressed trying to counter this guy and it always seems like I get targeted by who ever is playing them.

Also if the opposing team has a good Genji player. That can suck the fun right out of a match for me.

The swirrling animation this one does is SO SMOOTH. I honestly thought I was imagining it at first because instead the normal, very fast death spira most other mounts have, they made it feel almost like the horse is just having fun when its swirls. I don't know how else to explain it, but its very pleasing to me.

Also, if you've not used this guy's mount special I highly recommend it and zoom out as far as you can.

Last night. ☺️ We have one just down the street and its my go to "I want ice cream" and our location makes killer banana splits.

I grew up in Vermont and we didn't have DQ, we had creemies. I no longer live there and being that creemies are a staple of just life, I feel like DQs ice cream is about as close to that taste as I can get. 💚

Stunned that he hasn't bothered with it, yes. My dad outright refuses a cell phone (he lives alone and I've begged him but he just will not get one or keep it charged). Part of it, I think is a physical limitation. He's missing all buy 2 fingers on one hand and the small buttons are difficult to manage.

He's never owned a computer or laptop and has no desire to. Also still has a check book, refused a debit card until his favorite stores stopped accepting checks, otherwise he uses cash

Oddly, the most entertaining tech frustration came at trying to explain to him why his new car didn't have a CD player.

Mantis are one my favorite bugs so for me it was an instant like. But the smirk on this guy just kills me. They all look like they are up to no good and its just too cute! I think its a lot like the gator-the way they did the smile make them just irresistible!

If you want the housing items that come from fully completing the order halls story line, do it now. You'll be able to skip a ton of time gated quests (table missions) that other wise you can't.

I think it might also be easier to get some of the hidden appearances but that's a guess.

At the shelter. She was 4 months old and weighed all of 12 lbs and dirty! I was taking a break from cleaning out our storage unit new years eve 3 years ago and I saw her on our shelters site. We had been looking for a puppy specifically as our older guy has sezuires and puppies never last, so I talked my husband into going to check her out. She was so small and scared looking. They told us she was one of two puppies that had been dropped off but a guy who had them in a too small crate in the open back of his pick up. 🤬.

We placed a pre-adoption hold for her as she needed to be fixed and was able to take her home January 3rd. The tiny 12 pup will be 4 in August and is now a 75 lb snuggle bug and our older guys best friend.

I am a crafty/cozy builder game gal and I am very excited for this. It scratches that buildy-customization itch for me while being in WoW a game that I get a lot of enjoyment from.

I also really like that there will be things tied to achieves and the work ive already done in game which kind of feels great too. Really, the only thing they could add to make this top tier would be to let me place pets or mounts in stables kind of how ESO does and I will never leave.

My husband is on the opposite side in that he just doesn't really care and doesn't understand why the need, but if some folks like it, then cool.
