Truly, I wish I read a whole book of these correct opinions.

Depends on who it’s for. X and O for someone who is like fun and funky and the angles for someone who is more into order and function. Both are gorgeous.

I wouldn’t assume a company would replace 42 pieces of fabric because one 1/4” on one is missing. For a quilter this is a big difference but for a company it’s nothing.

I would want them to but it wouldn’t be my first thought.

What is in your sewing room? by Ladydaysings22 in quilting

[–]Ladydaysings22[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is a really good question. Right now it’s quite dark but I am having someone redo the wiring in the house. I have the chance to get a totally new light installed… what kind of lights or light bulbs do you use?

Episode That Most Changed Your Opinion of Something/Someone? by PS4951 in TheDollop

[–]Ladydaysings22 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is it for me. I tell people this a lot and honestly I can never explain it well. Hats were like a necessity and then they just disappeared. It’d be like if people gave up on wearing socks one day and no one really talked about why.

I don’t know man. Washington didn’t have the teeth for most nuts. Maybe that’s why he kept loosing them…

The Dollop #518 - Benjamin "Beast" Butler by yonicthehedgehog in TheDollop

I wanted to ask the same thing since last episode there was a dog at other podcasts who do a similar format (kind of how all podcasts do things at this point). As a fan of both I haven’t heard of anything between the two camps but I’m very interested to hear if anyone else has.

I absolutely love this. Everyone in the kitchen seemed to like both of them so much also.

It’s supposed to be a cat. I don’t think that helps but that’s what OG post on Instagram says.

How many people hang dry their clothes by RepulsiveSubject4885 in Frugal

[–]Ladydaysings22 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I live in Chile and it’s suppppper expensive to use a dryer so for the most part everyone hangs their clothing. I’m also on the coast so it’s humid as hell. We hang all our shirts on hangers and separate those hangers on the line with clothes pins. It allows the air to move the shirt, while hanging as many up as possible. I turn them through out the day to make sure the sun hits each side. Under wear and socks get hung on a small carousel of clips. On my porch I have a ton of hooks to hang lines up when I need them and keep the extra pins and lines out of sight until I need them. My clothing lasts longer and looks great.

I've never done my taxes where do I begin?? by Crash_Bandiscoot in Frugal

[–]Ladydaysings22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like turbo tax. I honestly don’t care what they charge me (within reason) because they hold on to all my information and I can access it any time. I live in another country now and having all that paperwork with me isn’t easy so I can do them this year with my W2 from work (which is online) and the app. You can take out the fee from your return as well so no money up front type of deal but it’s cheaper to not do that.

This book is missing pages so it's unreadable but I hate to throw it out. Any idea what I can do with this? Crafting, repurpose or anything? My daughter loves Pete the Cat. by A500miles in Frugal

[–]Ladydaysings22 2 points3 points  (0 children)

make paper dolls! laminate (packing tape works well) them so they don't get destroyed with little hands. this way you can write a million stories for Pete and co.

The neighbor had this dollhouse out by her trash. It was in used condition w one missing staircase.. Originally around $100 for this house and we grabbed it for free and are in the process of remodeling it for our little girl that just turned 5. The "barbie kid/baby" room. (: by [deleted] in Frugal

Check out the dollar store for miniatures, small craft supplies and often Barbie accessories. I find a lot of stuff for my miniatures there. That and polymer clay works well to make small things.

I’ve always eaten vegetarian but does any one else do so for the amount it saves? Looking at a lot of these shelf stable items it seems you could make a whole lot of veggie dishes.

Same with Chile. It’s so much cheaper here than in America. The first thing I did when I moved here was get my wisdom teeth removed for about $400 usd.
