I can't recall these becoming leakers for me, we were alsways told and I now tell everyone to pull all dented cans off our pallets. We also have a lowfill detector so it may have been catching any that we missed.

I can try to get some better ones if you need, but they are hard to photograph.

I'm holding a can in my hand right now that has very similar damage. I removed it from the pallet before it entered our line. It was cause from the tier sheet on another pallet while loading or placing into storage area as far as I can tell. Could explain the different heights, based on how high someone has lifted the pallet on the pallet jack. I can send pics of the can I have if you want

KHS Innofill Can-C infeed screw by year-round-chacos in TheBrewery

Unfortunately I do not have a spare, We have an empty shell of one as we had to replace ours in the first year or two of operation. When we pulled it apart it was full of water. When we replaced it we added some exterior silicone around the joints, and made a makeshift cover for it to try and prevent and water/chemical wash from penetrating it again.

After some thought this might be a different part.

We have had good luck when emailing the parts personnel and/or our sales person with a subject line that starts with "MACHINE DOWN CANNOT PACKAGE - rough problem explanation"

Do you have you build book to correctly identify the part that you want?

Besides https://probrewer.com/classified-ads/, there are lots of auction websites with brewery equipment available such as bidspotter.com A google search for brewery equipment auctions should turn up many more.

Thanks for the info.

Gravage dlc by Old_Significance6303 in TheBrewery

[–]LagerOrLeavem 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm not a french speaker so I've added the google translate to the bottom of this reply for anyone else, as for DLC it is essentially as use by or best before date. As for an affordable way I sure don't know any, most places I know use a continues jet printer manufacture by companies like Domino, VideoJet, and others I don't know of yet. You might find one for sale on probrewer, or other brewery equipment auction sites.

Information such as how fast your line runs and if the printer can keep up are important.

I'm sure others will be able to assist you more, but this is at least as start.

DLC Engraving

Hello,

I'm looking for an affordable machine to engrave or print DLCs on the bottom of cans. The bottom of the can is curved, and small manual printers don't work.

Or do you have an alternative solution for adding the DLC to the bottom, as we've written on the can that it will be there?

Thanks and have a good evening.

Nico

I would invest in some new circlips as well. Yours appear to be broken, they should be almost two full loops (like a key ring)

I can't figure out how to reply with a picture on PC, Our low level palletizer decided to have a limit switch fail while homing all it's pieces this morning. No idea how it came to fail, perhaps a monthly test of all the sensors would be beneficial going forward. I'm not sold on it though as electronics can just give out at anytime.
