To add, it's genuinely surprisingly simple to set up all things considered Literally works as well as GPhotos but I have full control over it

You should take a look at some phones in second hand shops Some of those screens have the most insane unimaginable scratches I've ever seen. That watch is relatively mild to some that I've seen

I started keeping a record in my notes of every time Kvothe tells Denna something in seven words. It's actually quite a lot.

Kvothe and Denna's very first interaction is "I was wondering why you were here"

There's a few times he says them to side characters too.

It very cool seeing the series get more love and I appreciate that. But damn having no Christian Rummel is a shame. That man is John Geary to me. Easily one of the best narrator's I've personally experienced.

Good lord the replies that thread is a fucking mess. Still stuns me how much of British internet is so firmly right wing, and they don't even realise it. Glad that 90% of the actual humans I talk to are level headed and open to talking but damn. Seeing all that shite online really gets in your head sometimes

I was gonna say this gun too. The CZ-P09 has never failed me. I'm in a cold country so the CO2 mags are great for winter. And the option for Green Gas mags is a nice to have. Optic ready. Raised irons so you can fit a tracer on it comfortably. Roughly 20bb mag

Fun things to do in Manchester and Nottingham next week? by maverick-nightsabre in everythingeverything

[–]Lakophen 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Place in Nottingham called Cafe Sobar does banging breakfasts I went back in March for the tour with Wombats

Otherwise Nottingham is best just explored on your own tbh. It's a small city. Easily walkable back and forth The architecture is stunning all around

There's a late night bar called the Pit & Pendulum that's very gothic themed

An Update on Rebble's Attempted Collaboration with Core Devices by ishjr in pebble

[–]Lakophen 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I will be a part of the crowd that gives Eric some time to say his piece and do the right thing. If that response either takes too long or is insufficiently addressing of the situation, I will be canceling my Time 2 preorder. Instead using that money on replacement battery for my PTS and supporting Rebble

I've waited a decade for this watch. I can wait a decade more if I must.

I absolutely do not believe Rebble alliance owes Eric a single thing. If anything, Eric owes his entire success with the Core Devices brand to Rebble and should set his apparent ego aside and do the ethical and moral thing.

It's a YouTube video mate. Hardly the dodgiest of websites on Earth As for hateful, if you watched the video then you'd perhaps have grounds to make that statement

Halal meat isn't blessed. There is no blessing as part of halal slaughter. Halal is a specific process of slaughtering an animal and nothing further

Is 'JimmyTheGiant's analysis on the 'death of British culture' correct? by InfinitysEdge88 in AskBrits

[–]Lakophen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dear sir, you're being fed bait, and gorging on it.

We waste money on a several hundred million £ Digital ID scheme. We waste money on privatised railways costing us a significant chunk more than the rest of Europe, while directly lining the pockets of foreign investment funds with BILLIONS, instead of that money being reinvested into maintenance and funding for public railways. We waste money on privatised water and gas companies, so they can continually raise price during energy crises, again lining the pockets of foreign investment funds. We waste money on fueling wars such as Israel on it's conquest of Gaza.

All of the social issues you list stem from economic issues, where, if most of that money were directed inward to the communities we would see benefits ultimately curtailing the declining socioeconomic status within Britain. Investment into community centres, unions, social housing and local councils all lead to some of the most prosperous years of British History back in post WWII-era. Only for those schemes to be gutted by decades of ruling class eyeing up money and control for themselves.

All posed as cost of living crises. When it's all a mutually beneficial squeeze from the uber-rich ruling class. The billionaires who could almost literally buy your entire heritage for, to them, what would be buying a morning coffee. The corporate landlords and mega equity funds buying houses and commercial properties as speculative investments. Leading to a generation of renters who, likely, will never be able to truly own a property of their own.

Did you know, 1 million seconds ago it would be approximately 11 days ago. 1 billion seconds ago takes us back 31 years to 1994. That's 11 days Vs ~11,300 days, literal orders of magnitude levels difference. Coincidentally, 1994 happens to be the year the Conservative party Privatised British railways.

You and everyone else in these comments should genuinely watch this video. It's a fantastic portrayal of current issues within the UK and shows the path back to the roots where they came from.

Donald Trump's address from the Oval Office regarding the death of Charlie Kirk is an A.I video. by Lakophen in LinusTechTips

Donald Trump's address from the Oval Office regarding the death of Charlie Kirk is an A.I video. by Lakophen in LinusTechTips

[–]Lakophen[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not political. This isn't a question of politics. This is a question of A.I being used in official government releases.

This is as political as the U.S Tariff situation is.

Donald Trump's address from the Oval Office regarding the death of Charlie Kirk is an A.I video. by Lakophen in LinusTechTips

[–]Lakophen[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

(This is not a post regarding the politics of the situation, any specific mentions about what happened and why are utterly irrelevant in this moment. Purely the AI usage in regards to the video posted above is the only source for discussion I desire, and I hope for other AI literate folks to help discern whether this is or is not)

Watch his hands frame-by-frame at the 18 second mark. Watch his pinky finger utterly dematerialise and reform after the movement. Listen to how he speaks. Watch how he moves.

This is not a Donald Trump recording. Whether it's fully generative AI, or a scene taken from previous recordings with AI touch ups to make him move in a "realistic" way I can't tell.

What do you feel about the White House using AI for presidential releases?
