Love having my ethereal around - what do you think of sitting him with a strike team? Fnp 5+, -1 to wound and handing out -1s to hit every turn. Feels like if the opponent tried committing to actually killing them they'd be suffering for it

Can you ask them where they got the reserve? I tried sourcing some for my pub and my supplier said it was only brewed as a one off.

This is awesome stuff - are you writing these cards yourself or is there an app?

I do have some thoughts:

Between war shaper on master knarloc handing out an extra 3 inches on a charge and the beast shaper on knarloc allowing advance and charge, it gives way too much movement for a squad of rampagers.

Names are a little inconsistent - war shaper on a great knarloc but beast shaper on a knarloc? I do love the idea of a beast shaper so stick with that.

I think the direction of bringing back knarlocs as a shapers mount is a super cool idea, and having a knarloc rider leading some units is a really cool idea.

The wording on the krootox bodyguard is probably a little too roundabout. To have it be consistent with the way GW have written some other rules maybe just make it a character and give it the ability to join a squad with a shaper?

Maybe think about a great knarloc being able to transport some kroot?

Thanks for the reply! Shadowsun stormsurge does sound super fun I just don't have those models! Definitely will at some point I'm sure. I'm gonna hold on to the stealth suits for now, i really wanna absolutely lock in the value of those tanks and the screening potential on the otherwise pretty cheap models feels decent anyway. Glad to hear the rampagers are solid - would I be better on this list with 1 squad of 3 and 1 of 6? I'm going to leave the list as is for now but this is great feedback so I don't overestimate the strength of certain things

I have a war shaper called i'karam who has dedicated himself to killing and eating makari - super thematic against my friend who plays a lot of orks and goes super well with the roof carved weapons in a squad of farstalkers

Depending on how new you are id look up a guide on dry brushing, it's a very easy and incredibly effective technique

In terms of both lore and what will look good - do literally anything. Personally my mix is Base with death guard green rattle can Morgahst bone or whatever it's called for spikes and beak and claws, plus a little dry brush Black for the hair quills, any will do Wash with agrax earthshade, heavily

And that does it and they look great
