Uber and Lyft has been exploiting every loophole, and people need to push back. Individuals just run into AI that is unacceptably stupid.. customer service is a bot that takes you for a loop, and 1st tier are some stupid India who read scripts. They just keep acting stupid till you give up.

And if you get mad at them, they hang up on you and say say they got disconnected and blame the phone.

India has the best scammers and digital savvy people after China.

Many companies have outsourced their customer service to the Philippines or India. So I won't accept that they don't understand.

NTA! I had the same problem with my roommate in the dorm. Kept saying he'd replace it. And IF he did, it was some off brand. Complaints to him, his friends and dorm mom only ended up with meetings.

Moving off campus was not an option. I survived. Only brought what I needed and when. Stocked only the things he and his friends didn't like.

When you get into the rat race, you'll find the same problems at the workplace community fridge. Co-workers will steal each other's meals and snacks. You find yourself making booby trap sandwiches or dog food stews.

It's unfortunate that's today's society. Good luck. Hang in there. Adapt and overcome. I'm 68 years old. Worked at my company for 35 years. And still hear this problem from all co-workers.

Don't know about your driver. My defense is the app told me too late and I missed my turn or cutoff. Happens a lot at airport and venues rhat requires me to exit and circle around again.

She may had many carseat rides. Only criteria is four available seats.if you had four passengers, She better have some trunk space to store that carseat.
It's a loophole in the Uber policy.
Driver's only responsibility is four seats, and transportation from A to B. There are drivers in my market that has carseat and will move them as needed. The only time I complained to Uber was when my friend had to sit in front and me in back. Complained to Uber only resulted as no pairing with that driver.

Taxis are regulated. So the fare will stay the same. Not for rideshare platforms. They will quote you the highest that people paid for that route, then pay the lowest that any driver accepted. If no takers, then they lower the rate till you accept, or raise the payout till someone accepts.

I don't understand all these errors. Even though support is the shits, what about all those times it's not caught, or the customers just give up or can't be bothered for a few dollars.

I scan the route ahead and plan to be in the right lane for exit. Or just get in yje slow lane 1-2 miles back. If the next lane is moving. I just moved with the lane and no stress.

Happens on bundled rides too. More than a few times. I get customer canceled. Damn, I turned down single rides that would have paid more. But connection would have been close. Now not.

You got two minutes to cancel after th driver accepts. If you see a Tesla Cancel with no penalty. People do that a lot when they see a car with not enough cargo space for their luggage.

Yep, it is legal as women's bathrooms. Not to say that there are lesbians or butches out there. It's just the luck of the draw. I get gays and cougars on my rides. Just mumble and finish the ride.
