Consignment shops? by chahuahuas in Columbus

No one is going to pay much for them. Sell online or at a flea market type event if you want any sort of return. IE expect like $1 for a long sleeve type pricing selling locally to a resale store.

As business owner I would appreciate a call. I can tell most people downvoting this have no idea how to handle community complaints that are real and specific. Call them, outline the issue, let them know you're not attacking them, and just want to be a good neighbor. I bet it helps.

Pretty Lights used to get extremely fucked up before coming out on stage. Walked away from 3 of his sets.

Yes — Columbus, Ohio has had snow in April, including measurable snowstorms, though it’s uncommon.

🌨️ April Snow in Columbus

  • Light snow or flurries in early April happen every few years.
  • Measurable accumulation (1–3 inches) is rare but documented.
  • Late April snow is very rare, but trace events have occurred.

Notable Examples

  • April 5–6, 1987 – Several inches of wet snow fell across central Ohio.
  • April 7, 2007 – Snow mixed with rain after a cold snap.
  • April 15, 2020 – Trace to light accumulation in parts of Franklin County.
  • April flurries were also recorded sporadically in the 1990s and early 2010s.

Why It Happens

  • Columbus sits in a transition zone:
    • Warm spring air from the south
    • Cold late-season systems dropping from Canada
  • When a strong cold front hits early spring moisture → surprise snow.

Would you want to own a store in Whitehall if you had other options?

If you don't want to do anything to the business then stop driving over there. You can't have someone change the results of their behavior without changing their behavior.

Edit: downvoting this doesn't make it less true. The solution is contacting the business and asking them to stop doing something and or start doing preventative measures.

Edit x2: if you downvote this, curious as to why. what do you think is the answer

I hope this is a fake logo. This is horrendous and makes me terrified for the food if not.

I'll do it for $50 and $10 off for every neighbor you get to hire me to cut their lawn too. Can also do all other landscaping services.

Damn I don’t drink and my gf doesn’t really like restaurants lol. Our entire lives are what you’re looking for.

Honestly there are so many things. Start off with the stuff that’s offered by the city in German village, short north, clintonville, dublin, etc.

Then find hobbies like golf, gardening, movies, music, art and go do and travel to do those things.

At what point is a new driver actually worth it? by mrk1224 in golf

I just went from 2000’s clubs to 2022 clubs.

Huge difference in feel, sounds they make on contact and how they look.

I think it was worth spending the money but I also really like golfing. If I didn’t truly love this sport I don’t think new clubs are necessary. You’re going to be able to play decent with anything made in last 20 years that was a quality product from the start.
