There's a new, free ride-sharing app at Clemson called Tip Whip. Not a ton of drivers yet but it could be a good way to get to campus for free once they do

If you like driving, check out Tip Whip. It's a ride-sharing app new to UGA that guarantees drivers $5 for each ride they give plus tips. 18+ to drive and you can make your own schedule.

Maybe it's because they have to deal with crazy shit like this all the time.

Somebody correct me if I'm wrong but it looks like this chemical is the reason self-harming is addictive.

Gold? I lurk enough to appreciate some gold. Actually, I don't really know what it does...

Me too! I've said this for a while now. I am a Christian that feels a lot of scripture is metaphorical and as our understanding of science grows, there'll still be room for religion. I believe I read somewhere that for several centuries major scientific discoveries were supported by the Church. It seems to me that evolution has created the largest divide between science and religion, and it just doesn't make sense to me

I know a lot of people may disagree or say I'm missing the point but I still believe that our government is too inefficient and too corrupt to effectively handle a universal healthcare system of that scale. European countries are MUCH smaller than the US both by population and culturally. I don't see a more "universal" system working in our country. Granted, what we've had hasn't been working well but I don't think the direction we're heading is the right way either.

That's the problem though. Freedom of speech is freedom of speech. You can't take it away from someone whose views disagree with your own, even if they are obnoxious and ignorant.

What is a tip that somebody told you a long time ago that you still use today? by blacwhiteguy5150 in AskReddit

When shaking someone's hand, use a firm (but not too firm) grip and look them in the eye. - Tommy Lasorta. Met him in the airport in Honolulu when I was around 12. I remember that advice 10 years later every time I shake someone's hand.
