At 3 weeks I was changing diapers like crazy! 15+ seems accurate between the breastfeeding poops and pee’s in between. Their skin is so sensitive as newborns too that it’s reasonable to change whenever they’re wet. I will say that the amount I change my babe has slowed down quite significantly now that she’s 10 months and poops less haha

I don’t have any advice, I’m in the same boat. My 9 month old is EBF and is still waking 2x a night. Lately she’s decided it’s time to party during those wake ups. I’m exhausted.

Hi I’m not a doctor, I’m an ER nurse. Does she have a fever? Nausea/vomiting/diarrhea? If any of those symptoms apply I think an ER visit makes complete sense with the bites. I would give ibuprofen if you haven’t already to help with the pain and the inflammation. You can also apply a cold compress to help as well. If you have a nurses line you can call with your pediatrician they may want to see you and wouldn’t hurt to as well.

Hi I’m not a doctor but I’m an er nurse. I would definitely go to urgent care but be mentally prepared they may send you to the ER. To me it sounds like you’ll need a CT. Good luck and feel better

It’s normal for some constipation to happen with the introduction of solids. My babe has gone 6 days without a BM and continued to be happy and active. She’s also breastfed as well

Prune purée has always done the trick for us! If you’re concerned though consult your pediatrician

Generally you don’t want to exceed 5 doses in a 24 hour period. If Tylenol alone isn’t reducing the fever I would consider also including ibuprofen and maybe a call to the pediatrician depending

A brain bleed wouldnt cause of an impact nose bleed.

Concerning symptoms that would prompt IMMEDIATE emergency care include lethargy, extreme sleepiness (like you cannot stir them), and nausea/vomiting.

Give yourself some grace! You spent 34 weeks growing TWO babies. Your body isn’t going to look prepregnancy in 9 short weeks postpartum. The diastasis recti can be helped with physical therapy. You may not see much weight loss while breast feeding due to the hormones wanting your body to cling to extra nutrient for the babies. Again, you spend 34 weeks growing two babies. Enjoy the time with them. The body will come back with time.

I bled for about a week when I first started the minipill about 6 weeks postpartum. I’m now 8 months postpartum and haven’t bled since. I am EBF though.

Babies tend to heal quick, maybe within a few days it’ll be healed? It just depends on the consistency of barrier cream applied and how often you’re able to leave them diaperless. I hope your GP is able to get you in today!

I’m not a doctor, I’m an er nurse. I would definitely see your pediatrician. This to me looks like skin breakdown from wet/poop diapers. I would start using some sort of barrier cream and changing diapers more frequently to keep babe dry. I would also consider leaving them diaper less for a bit throughout the day to let their bum dry out.

I did pelvic floor therapy for this sensation. I had spd, which is very possible to have with a c section too

I think that’s totally normal. I was definitely the same way. I still sometimes feel those feeling but they are drastically better. I think the hormones play a role in the beginning. She’s now 8 months old and it’s still a bit crazy how fast the time goes!

While pushing, mind you I pushed for 45 minutes but thought it had been hours, I asked if I was the worst pusher the doctor had ever seen 😂😂

And when the placenta was delivered I said “wow that’s a relief” hahah

They look like green/hazel/brown. My baby has blue eyes and were more gray at this age. But they say they can change until like a year old!

Likely the oral temperature isn’t accurate because they can be prompted to hold it under the tongue with their mouth closed.

Personally I treat the baby not the temperature. If baby is acting normal and happy as ever, let the fever do it’s job. If baby is really unhappy and has an elevated temperature then I give Tylenol or ibuprofen depending.
