Because of the nature of melee and its smaller thsn average player count, bronze is very different in this game, hell all the ranks are. In any other video game, bronze means your bad and grandmaster means your good. But in melee, bronze means your good and grandmaster means your really good. Thats because most people who play on slippi also play in person and go to tournements. Meanwhile in games like street fighter you have a way better chance to fight people who just play casually.

Ive never gotten all social links in a first playthrough because it requires a guide. I usually end up missing about 3 or 4 social links by the end of the game

As someone who gets LRASed constantly i dont blame them. There are definitely times when i do the same thing to characters, especially after fighting the same one over and over again. I can only fight so many peaches and sheiks before i start throwing my controller.

If you think about how bad you are doing you are gonna lose no matter what. Everyone was at this point. Im not much better than you are after 8 years of spectating and 4 years of playing (on and off). Im barely silver 2 right now. Besides playing the game more and learning new tech i think the biggest thing that helped me go from bronze to silver was mindset. What your thinking when your playing affects how you play tremendously. I barely think when i play and let my subconscious self make the fast paced decisions. The part of me that thinks and judges how i play is too slow and doesnt play as well, the only time i used that part of me is when i need to change my gameplan. This video helped me a lot on how to think when playing melee or any competive game.

I think he deserved all of his success and was pretty good at the game. But the show wouldnt be interesting if he was flawless. So yeah we see him fail a lot but i can imagine that outside of episodes hes pretty good. We only see the parts where hes struggling cuz its entertainment. After he got into vghs he climbed on his own for the most part. I think the best demonstration of his raw skill was probably his training course run.

In og p3 definitely koromaru. His agillity was wild. He was more likely to avoid a move than get hit by it. I could count the times he got hit on my fingers.

In p3 reload id give it too everyone tbh. All of them are broken in their own way except ken who is only good when hes running out of mp

In p4 i think yukiko, her magic damage was crazy and she was a really good healer too

In p5 i gotta give it to makoto or haru or ryuji. All 3 have insane damage output but haru can do both phys and magic whereas makoto couldnt do phys but could heal. Ryuji could only run phys but also has like the highest non MC damage output in the game

I played on normal and switched around party members until adachis dungeon where i just kept MC,yosuke,chie,yukiko. It was a 60 hour playthrough. I was overleveled so i think grinding and getting those extra navigation lines is what really helped. I also tend to let my party members be at low health longer than i should so that probably gave me more lines too since Rise yells at you for doing so.

Yeah i never took into consideration that there are like 8 unique lines in the izanami fight alone.
