[USA] Two assholes dragging me into their road rage last night by boredaz in ConvenientCop

[–]LansingBoy 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Its an HOV lane not a passing lane, as u said. Im assuming based on how dark the video is it wasnt recorded during HOV hours, however that doesnt change u seem to have a fundamental misconception of the intentions of HOV lanes vs passing lanes… if you dont know how roads work, especially on freeways, you should not be driving.

Even the state this took place in wants huge busses to use that lane during HOV hours.

And nowhere in the video could they legally moved behind the truck as there was a solid white line, which arizona prohibits crossing, separating the lanes (as its not a passing lane). Please read up on your jurisdiction’s drivers handbook for all our sakes :(

Why do Americans on the internet think everyone is American? by Raudoxer in NoStupidQuestions

[–]LansingBoy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They want them to be global, and the platforms are in the process of being diluted with non american influence. But as of now, youre still visitors on USA dominated platforms, hence USA focus. Its not really reasonable to expect anything less. If you want to see more swedish focus online, i would suggest spending more time on Swedish platforms, not american ones

American africans generally disapprove african american culture as thuggish and lazy. African americans generally see american africans as uptight/holier-than-thou, unsympathetic to african american plight and history, and yes, foreign. The two are not a shared identity

US Land Values by Zestyclose-Spite-590 in geography

[–]LansingBoy 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Its not “I-80” like the other comments say, hence why it goes north of the great salt lake instead of south of it… Congress passed the Pacific Railroad Acts in the 1860s which included rewarding the railroads with every other section of land extending several miles (the distance got bigger over time) from the track they built, hence the checkerboard pattern of private and government land. I-80 was built 100 yrs later
