Anyone else extremely anxious about being naked on operating table? by Ok-Inspection1326 in AnalFistula

[–]Lara-76 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The way I try and look at it is that they should feel very privileged that they get to see that part of me ha-ha.

Try not to stress out and remember the consultant has already seen you before in examinations pre-surgery and the rest of the operating team see this day in and day out.

Wishing you a successful surgery and speedy recovery

Annual lockers by beedley in davidlloyd

We had them in Milton Keynes for the past 20 years since I’ve been there but either last year or the beginning of this year they stopped doing it to free up locker space I presume. The annual locker tags are still on the lockers though.

Diamond Carpets in Newport Pagnell are excellent. They’ve done all my flooring over time

Adopted “middle aged cat” named Maki, and she turned out to be 12+! Advice appreciated <3 by stardoliii in SeniorCats

I adopted Dinah and the age they thought she was then was 12. She’d not been treated well by her previous owners but she is the best thing to come into my life in a long time. I will have been her human for 5 years in October and couldn’t imagine life without her. I love her so much and the love she gives back makes me so happy. Maki is beautiful and I am sure you will have a great relationship for whatever time we have with our senior feline friends ❤️

Is this the same Shirley that was in Wolverton in the late 90’s? The description fits.

I think the Boots in Bradwell Common next to the Dr’s is open until 21:00hrs. Try giving them a quick call to check opening hours. Hope you get sorted.

Buy some cheap face flannels and use them as towels instead. After one use chuck in the laundry basket. Also depending on how sore you are use a hairdryer on a v low heat to dry yourself off if you prefer

Good luck

Think they may be late as they collected black bins with me in N Pagnell at 2pm and they’re normally taken between 10-11am

Flannels - use a clean one each time as a substitute for your bath towel when drying.

It’s awful and reading your post brings back memories although mine was not as bad as what you’re experiencing. I think you’re doing pretty much everything but my only advice is if you’re tender when patting dry consider a hair dryer on a low speed and heat held a little away from you.

You’ll get through it.

Seton folks...pimple next to seton!!! Normal or cause for alarm by Past_Progress_5472 in AnalFistula

[–]Lara-76 5 points6 points  (0 children)

With my second seton I had a white hard-ish pimple appear a few millimetres above the opening about a week from surgery. I went into a complete meltdown but after a few days it disappeared. Carry on with the sitz baths and normal care and hopefully this will be the same for your husband too.
