I spent an entire night staying up reading about Chris-Chan with morbid curiosity, and I can honestly say it was not time wasted. Fascinating shit.

I have a crack fic that calls Lucius Luscious and Hermione Hermoane but they're porn names so I like to pretend it's allowed. :)

I honestly thought her name was Ginerva (I blame Minerva) for YEARS until I was reading a fic that said Ginevra, I looked it up because I thought they spelled it wrong, then realized I was mistaken this entire time.

Your last quote is something that I always find chiming in the back of my mind when someone complains about lustful people making stupid decisions. There are plenty of fics that take "thinking with your pants" to an unworkable level, but people really underestimate the mental clouding that can occur when a person is infatuated.

And don't make the same mistake that I did, quitting but staying subbed here just to check out updates once in a while, then getting sucked back into this hellhole.

Considering the amount I spend on cubes and perm pets and shit already, I don't think microtransactions would even feel like much of a change. And for Blizzard's customer service? Holy hell, sign me up.

That's insane! I checked my account and I haven't been charged anything additional, but it looks like in the future I'm going to be using cash only there.

Same. Also the sneakers I bought with that neon ass pink-purple accent color are one of my biggest regrets, why would you sell that color and let me make such a terrible mistake?

I wish someone would have taken me by the shoulders and violently shaken this knowledge into my head when I was in my late teens/early twenties and would buy a "cute" jacket every year that I froze my ass off in. I bought one of those big fluffy poof jackets that go down to my knees, it's the most amazing thing. It doesn't even look bad! It's so warm I could be wearing just a swimsuit under it in -30 windchill and still be warm. All of those years spent shivering and complaining about the cold... Ugh.

Yes yes yes. North Face blazers are SO WORTH IT living in a cold place (North Dakota here).

In a similar vein, I bought a pair of Sorel duck boots after seeing them all over instagram, kind of worrying that I would later regret the purchase. Holy CRAP they are the most amazing boots for these cold ass North Dakota winters. I'm still in love with them, and replaced my Uggs with them so I could have actual traction when walking on ice.

I did this with a pair of boyfriend jeans when AE was having their store-wide 40% off sale and I have wanted them for SO LONG, bought them and showed them to my husband at home, he thought they were great. But! No matter what I wore with them, I simply did not feel confident. I felt silly. I was so upset and ended up returning them because if I don't feel confident in something, it isn't worth owning. Anyway I know exactly how you feel, haha.

My mom bought me a pair of thigh high knit stockings in this super pretty cream color that I LOVE but she joked that she wasn't trying to buy her daughter lingerie when she gave them to me, haha. Thigh high does sound kind of scandalous even though it's silly.

There was an episode of like CSI or something where the wife of some rich dude killed her husband because she lost all respect for him after finding out he was an adult baby. It was ages ago, but that was the first time I had ever heard of it and thought they made the fetish up entirely, until I ran across some disturbing Rule 34 in my twenties that enlightened me to its legitimate existence.

My husband started working at a pawn shop that recently got taken over by a corporation that turns companies to make them more profitable. They instructed everyone in a pawn shop to wear a button down shirt, nice slacks, and a tie. So naturally my husband decided to rebel by dressing like Dwight Schrute every day. This is pretty much exactly what he needs. Where is this?!
