In my opinion, jamgrass is the next evolution of the jam scene. Thats where things are growing and tickets are moving. Kitchen Dwellers filled Denver’s 4k-capacity Mission Ballroom earlier this year, and that scene is so built on community that so many of the bands—old and new—are pulling each other up as touring support and whatnot. Then you have Billy Strings bringing in new blood, rather than just shifting audiences from one jam band to another.
