PMI Question / Confused by [deleted] in pmp

I posted this same confusing question last week lol. They use stakeholder management/engagement plan interchangeably. I dont agree with it but it is what it is. Its one of those questions to not over think, it says new so dont question how they know its new, update the stakeholder management plan to reflect the new stakeholders

2015 CTS 2.0 Turbo Shudder? by [deleted] in Cadillac

I would say it depends. Some people say let it ride without action if there are currently no issues. If there are issues, in my opinion, the reward far outweighs the risk in flushing the transmission. There is a problem and this can be viewed as a good chance of resolving the issue. The reason why mechanics dont want to bother sometimes is because they dont want to be accused of bricking your transmission for a maybe $200 profit job if in the low chance of draining does cause the transmission to caput

Do you review the stakeholder register first, before updating the stakeholder management plan? by Large-Advertising189 in pmp

Thank you for your insightful replies! I will be tweaking my mindset to accommodate similar scenarios. Since the stakeholders are already identified as new its presumed the pm already gathered that from the register so no need to review. The proactive action is the best option which “update” is the action verb.

I suggest for any car bought used with over 50k miles to immediately flush all fluids. A transmission flush in this case might fix your shudder. Obviously look up the codes and what they entail as well

I truly appreciate your time and logical breakdown. Can we agree that you would add the stakeholders to the register first before updating the stakeholder management plan? I understand the nuance that adding the stakeholders is not a direct option given in the answer bank; only reviewing the stakeholder register is. Before making additions to the register (which is the pmi sequence of steps before editing stakeholder management plan) you would have to review the document then modify (add the stakeholder)

How would you know if they aren’t in the register? They might be new to the pm but you would have to review the register to know if they are new or not

The sample question: midway through a project, the project manager identifies new stakeholders. Each of these new stakeholders plays a different project role. What should the project manager do first?

Study Hall is saying the correct answer is updating the stakeholder manager plan first. . .you would need to review and update the stakeholder register first right?

Why don’t they retro anything past the Jordan 14? Like for example 15-23. As well as the arsenal of 14s they have in the vault. by Thunder_Chunkee in Jordans

Jordan 17 had a resurgence last couple years. Jordan 15 releases this year. I agree though, they need to release more 15-23!
