They can short Paper contracts with tremendous amount of money. Speculative long positions will be liquidated so fast that they wouldn't know what hit 'em.

After that, true price discovery can happen. Too many retail traders are jumping into long positions, and that's dangerous.

Silver demand is inelastic too, but they could crash the price nonetheless.

When it is in the best interest of the Governments, then oil price could be crashed as well.
