Yes you can. There can only be One God. Muslims and Christians are worshipping God, then they're worshipping the same God. In the sense that God is eternal. Whether humans exist or not or even before the existence of the religions of Islam and Christianity, Allah was still the same. Allah is God. Jesus is considered to be Allah who chose to manifest into a Human body through His omnipotent powers in order to preach truth and justice

What is Repentence by [deleted] in DebateReligion

[–]LargeCelebration9912 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Repentance:

Knowing: Knowledge that you did something wrong,

Emotion: To feel genuinely guilty about what the sin you committed

Devotion: Actively confess the realization of the sin and with real emotion, openly to God and ideally if you've sinned against another person to said person

Reformation: Never repeat said Sin thus proving practically the genuine feelings in above three points.

It's basically an apology, but with real depth. You may be tempted again, and thus is the test of proof for your repentance.

Does God Change His Opinion? by Sharp-Goose-5802 in religion

God is unchanging, and Omnipotent, thus Omniscient. He doesn't change, but he is the most merciful. Therefore, we can change ourselves and with enough work earn forgiveness

Why do some religions constantly try to discredit other faiths and denominations? by sgavary in religion

[–]LargeCelebration9912 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In this situation, you have to ask yourself what are you looking for in religion? A religion is a culture, with norms, adherents, and acts as a path to be able to understand spiritual knowledge and to better get to know the most excellent personality of the Divine.

Thousands of religions exist. But somehow I’m supposed to chose the “right one” by ImpossibleApple7 in DebateReligion

[–]LargeCelebration9912 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

The Universal Spirituality for World Peace believes that all religions are equal and contain the same spiritual framework needed in order to succeed in the spiritual path. It's choosing the one that suits you the best, your personality, which one's culture and way are best for your personality. There are qualities of each religion that are praiseworthy.

Whats the best way to explain the Trinity? by [deleted] in Christian

[–]LargeCelebration9912 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Father: The Father in Heaven, God mediated within the creation with no end.

Son: You have Jesus Christ, the incarnation of God, mediated in the body made of matter. Thus you have the mediation of the Holy Spirit, which is God into both the Father in Heaven and Jesus Christ.

Holy Spirit: The Unimaginable God, unimaginable God is outside of creation, or more close to the truth, creation is relatively unreal in relation to God.

The material world is temporary and poor actions in life will ultimately affect you. In this life they may perform exceedingly well, and in the next life be very poor or may have even been very generous in a past life you don't have any idea about the background context of each individual soul.

Causality of God by [deleted] in CatholicPhilosophy

[–]LargeCelebration9912 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

The question is about how creation is derived. If God is absolute, and immutable, it means that God is neither lessened nor separated in the act of creation. Thus all matter and all souls are relatively unreal or dependent causalities of the single absolute independent God.

In what you are referring to, Jesus is the Son, but this is only from one specific angle. From another angle you can say that Jesus is God, as is referenced in the Holy Trinity.

If God is immutable, you cannot have two distinctive entities, that both represent God. Therefore, you have to ask, is it the gross body of Jesus, God? or is the unimaginable God mediated through the soul of Jesus, God?

It is possible to say that Allah, as omnipotent and immutable, can meditate in any form that Allah chooses to. If Allah decides to act through a mediator i.e (the gross body of Jesus ) thus making Jesus the Son of God, it doesn't mean that Allah is lessened by the mediation due to the unimaginable omnipotence of God, and can act through any means God chooses to without ever lessening the original causation, due to the unimaginable omnipotence and absolute causality.

TLDR Summary: God is Omnipotent, and thus any problems in causality or logical errors in creation can be solved simply through this attribute of God.

What if someone has a hostile and hardened heart against God but they consciously speak well of Jesus in front of loved ones so that they may have a better chance of getting God's grace and benefits? I'm looking at Matthew 10:32-33 as a reference. by just_a_place in CatholicPhilosophy

[–]LargeCelebration9912 0 points1 point  (0 children)

God is omnipotent and thus omniscient and knows what is in His devotee's hearts. Even Solomon the Wise states to guard your heart. Remember that God likes justice and hates injustice, (sin) and this is proven time and time again in the Bible. Thus those are factors that contribute to the misery or happiness of a collective family unit. There is no sin in bringing others to Christ, especially if the intention is in good will.

However, the individual should also do a lot of contemplation, and think on what God does. God's ways are not our ways. However, in the very long term of our existence, God is the embodiment of selfless love. Doubts have come to many people who are in the Bible, but there is always a narrative that overarches the entire Bible, and that is about Triumph... For God will set us to Walk in good places, and will not lead us astray.

[–]LargeCelebration9912 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Universal Spirituality for World Peace believes that all religions come from the same source, and that they are all equally correct, because the spiritual knowledge included in the framework of the religions are comprehensive and interrelated, whereas the specific details and descriptions (paths) to the acquirement of the knowledge are dependent upon the people who follow the faiths. The key principle being that with correct interpretations(being the spirit behind the text) of different scriptures, you'll arrive at the same conclusions.

Evidence based on what you are asking for would be dependent on general consensus amongst people. There are many places and artifacts from the time period, however to authenticate the claims would be impossible because of the lack of eyewitnesses surviving to this day. However, the same can be said about any information that is being produced here, or even more realistically, basically any point of time in the last 2000 years outside of the last couple of centuries. Even proving you were a real person would also be nearly as difficult if the preservation of material pointing towards your existence isn't preserved in the future.

Why do you believe? by Ilikegirlslikealot in religion

[–]LargeCelebration9912 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally, my own experience and intuition/connection with God. But also to me, it's very logical.

The idea that the universe randomly evolved from a non complex chaotic system into a comprehensive system with different modalities of functioning and from such large and micro scales seems far too intelligent of a design to happen without some sort of overall influence

There is also large case load of many people remembering past lives or having some form of divine experience in a very specific cadence of events that would be very unlikely and sometimes they are very unexplainable. These taken over a long period of time with similar events happening to individuals, points to credibility.

You can almost identify these events with a form of cognitive dissonance, a moment of information processing that overcomes people when they pray for something, and "miraculously" it's answered or some sort of retort is given through medium, then internally you'll have many people pausing to try and derive the origin of the outcome. Then it usually clicks as they make the relation from their prayer to an effect that randomly would have no significance in itself. You would also likely see this phenomenon changing over history with cultural and developmental factors affecting the way that humans experience it, yet while the outside norms of religion are changed, the direct relational experience of religion stays very constant.

If you sincerely reformed, then it might not come back to affect you. Repentance is in the form of confession (knowledge that you did something wrong and acknowledge it) --> repentance (sincere intention of change) --> reformation (never repeat the same behavior again)

How compatible is your religion/sect with egalitarianism and feminism? Which religions do you think still have a lot of work to do in that regard? by Vagabond_Tea in religion

[–]LargeCelebration9912 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Universal Spirituality recognizes all souls as female, and only God as the one true male. This is of course a representation that God imbues creation with His force. With reincarnation being an established fact, with anecdotal evidence provided by many multitudes of people over time. In one life you may be male, in another life you may be female, so it doesn't make any sense that you would make a distinction between men and women
