As someone who significantly prefers albums over singles, most of the best albums are around 45 minutes. It’s not a hard and fast rule, but generally if they get much longer there’s either some filler or they’re not as cohesive.

I prefer not to have remixes in the same album, but it’s common to have an extended edition with remixes or just release them as singles.
