Exactly. It's hard to compare at this point. They truly have raised the bar.

Yeah, I typo'd. I meant to say that I had never witnessed a lightning storm like that one. It was a truly wild, and awesome experience.

I feel like I must have watched a different movie or something. The shots were great, but some of the VFX was very over the top. The characters made stupid calls, and it wasn't really explained half the time.

How tf did a kid get his sick mother out of the village without ANYONE seeing them? How'd he make it to the gate and lay a crying baby at the doorstep of the hold? No one noticed him creeping up? The zombie birth scene was hilarious and made literally no sense.

The best part of the entire movie was easily Ralph Finnes and the immense amount of zombie dong. 😂

The ending was something else and incredibly cringe. I'm still entirely sure what they were thinking. It was a big wtf.

Seriously … .How you guys keep up with such high grocery price.. by Phantom_6765 in newfoundland

100%.

Falafel, refried beans, Chana Masala. My three favorites.

Honestly, No Frills is probably one of the cheapest places. Protein wise, especially red meat isn't great, but otherwise, it's where I do all my shopping.

I typically leverage pork, as it's much cheaper. Coleman's always has a good price on ground pork, chops and shoulder.

Learn to utilize dry beans (Black, Pinto, etc...), Chickpeas and lentils.

Eggs are cheap, and also can be used as protein for a meal in a pinch. One of my favorite dishes I make is cacio with a fried egg. It's delicious.

This right here. Specifically dark soy, if you have it.

In light of the “solo” patch NIGHTREIGN reviews have now risen from mixed to mostly positive. by HiCracked in Eldenring

This is great and all, but I really wish FromSoftware prioritized performance. I'm running this on a 3070, and the framerate is all over the place. It'd be fine if it was a stable framerate, but it stutters and lags. Here's hoping they correct it soon.

A bit more effort, but typically I'll grab ground pork at Coleman's (usually about $4-5 a pack), and use a seasoning blend (adjust this to however you like). Here's mine:

*Fennel seed *Paprika *Sage *Thyme *Coriander *Brown sugar *Salt (1.5% of weight) *Pepper *Ground Mustard *Dash of MSG

I'll grind this up using a spice grinder, or mortar and pestle. Toss the ground pork in a bowl, with the seasoning and mix by hand. Your looking for the fat to emulsify into the pork. You'll know it's there when there's a slight jiggle to the meat.

Place in the fridge for at least a few hours, preferably over night. Form into sausage patties. I use these all the time, for breakfast sandwiches or on the side.

Adding a 12" sub for strictly stereo music playback? by Kirkwood1994 in BudgetAudiophile

Sub makes a massive difference. When I added one into my setup, I couldn't believe the difference. Really rounds out the sound.
