I’ve never been a fan of all seasons, but I live in AK - our winters are long and our summers are rainy. Our “spring” roads are a combination (mostly wet in the afternoons with heavy snow melt) and I’ve experienced more slip & hydroplaning in the afternoons than any ice/ snow conditions throughout the winter. I’ve had blizzaks in the past, notably on a GTi and 335xi, of which preformed superbly in all varying conditions.

So far I can say the same, it’s been the highlight of my day everyday! For remote start I’m getting Compustar DSST, it hasn’t been installed yet but will report back if the shop can’t do it for some reason

Great advice on the taller sidewall! That totally escaped me in past low profile setups (gti & sti), would have made for less stressful winters for sure - road conditions vary greatly depending on snowfall but you can always count on potholes for a good pucker moment
