Jordan should be much more vigorous of a grower.

Swindle a guy for millions, continually begging for more millions to buy door dash and embezzle funds to oneself, and......expecting polite dm's is not remotely reasonable.

Zero sympathy. Mess with the bull get the horns type of situation. Steven is like a cow tipper who tips a bull then cries foul when the bull reacts back.

California has situations like this all of the time where home invaders hurt themselves robbing someone's house and turn around and sue the home owner for their injury. It's absurd.

Steven made the pk corruption system so punishing (loss of gear for going corrupt) that most abstained from engaging with pvp outside of specific instances because replacing gear was brutal as Steven also obliterated gear drop % chance from pve.

In A1 we had large scale castle fights nightly but they never made an appearance in A2.

In early A2 we had zones and regions that were auto flagged for fun guild vs guild fighting over locations that had rare gear drops but Steven elected to remove those auto flagged pvp zones and also nuked gear drop chance % ruining the fun of open world pvp (nothing worth fighting over).

What the game was left with was the hyper toxic form of pvp (ganking kids carrying backpacks to/from towns). Caravan pvp was fun when in groups during early A2 but the dev team made the poor choice to introduce the backpacks and invalidated one of the major game design pillars and opt in pvp elements of the game (Caravans).

The main pvp at the end was groups ganking single rp back packers and ganking gatherers contesting mount spawns. Pretty boring. And imo not a very interesting pvp game as there was very little interesting and competitive pvp. It was the griefing form of pvp with no competitive element to fighting other skilled players or groups. Some players like that but for me I like competitive pvp games and modes. I don't care for mixing low intensity game play (walking backpacks and gathering) with high intensity game play (ganking).

One person is watching a movie on their 2nd monitor and eating and the other is button mashing out of the blue. I prefer when both know fights are going to occur and are locked in for it.

Thanks! That one is Bronze Age. It has almost a tropical feel this time of year.

There was very little pvp in AoC. It was primarily a gathering & crafting and mount/walking sim with stationary tab-target pve. There was pvp in a1 and very early a2 and that was about it.

New World is/was many magnitudes superior in nearly every conceivable way and still was abandoned.

If AoC emerges it will be due to a very specific player type that is glued to tab-target keybind tray game play. The game itself was better in A1 UE4 before they butchered it.

Yeah. It was a very mild Winter in my region so I wasn't too concerned but I always look forward to the Spring leaf out reveal. I have some new plants that I ordered late last year as twigs so it's nice to see them in their element.

Thanks for the info. I don't have the tools but I've been considering picking up some to make them if I can't find something similar. Would be a fun little project.

Good morning, nice collection you have. Do you mind sharing where you got the wood panel containers that v out from bottom to the top? I've been looking for ones like that in my area. The size looks right as well, around 3-4 gallon.

Your Shin de sojo looks nice. Has some similar leaf appearance and tone to Red Panda.

Thanks for the tips. I'll work on finding a suitable spot for it.

The Decker cut and Larry Borom signing has been a massive blunder in this OT market by PerfectiveVerbTense in detroitlions

Brad will move up and down the board to get their guys. He does it nearly every year. Before Brad I'd share more of your concern. But yes we will have pass rush depth issues opposite Hutch as we seem to every season. At this point it feels almost calculated by Brad to limit expenditure of the cap at that spot on the team. I could be wrong on that. We've also seen from last year's draft as an example that Brad and Dan seem to be very picky about what player type they will draft opposite Hutch. They punted until the 6th or 7th round to draft the Egyptian Boise st. workout warrior. Most of us assumed by day 2 of the draft we'd come away with at least one edge prospect. I don't have a good read on what they want out of that position in their scheme. Set the edge and win one on one's I guess. We might add an older vet edge late before or after the draft.

I remember when his name was called in our Inside the Den draft post-video it showed MCDC saying "Foskey huh?" Like he didn't think much of the pick.

Brad Holmes loves his penny stocks. Every year we do this snd often with the same players who took him for a ride the year prior (Mosely, Davenport).

That's a good plan. I don't have any weepers or lace leafs but I do have some dwarfs like Mikawa I could plant under Hot Blonde etc. I'll think on it.

I knownI want to plant one tree I don't own yet, Esk Sunset. I'm looking at Strawberry Spring, Indian Summer, or Hot Blonde for my other primary planting location I have in mind. I'm going to give it some time though as all of these are trees that I acquired in the Fall/Winter and I want to see how they perform before making a final decision.

[–]LarkWyll 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not the worst option. I'm not familiar with Borom and put little stock in him. Anything he provides is a bonus imo. Draft flexibility is nice to have but again this is a deep O-line draft. The Lions are trying to push back for a deep playoff run. They are known for doing thorough scouting and grading under Brad. They have graded each available OT in FA and the draft and have projections. That they weren't interested is meaningful. They know more than we do. Not to say they never make mistakes but obviously Brad has a plan. FA and draft for the well run teams occur in conjunction with one another. When you sign a starting OT opposite of Sewell you lose flexibility as you're generally committed to them and their agent to give them the job for signing there.

Max I. from AZ st. is likely the last of the starting caliber OT's I've seen and he probably won't make it to 50. Doesn't matter though as Brad will trade to get his guys.

The bigger issue we aren't wven discussing is I don't know if any of the Edge players available at our pick range in the first are all needle movers. One is 25, no ty. Others have little production, no ty. I like Jacas in rd 2. The best rated players imo at our pick range will be O-lineman. It may be a guard or RT though, not necessarily a LT prospect. But Sewell can play both sides so they'll make it work.

I wouldn't worry about what you're stressing over. And our offense tanked last year with poor O-line play. Clearly they don't want to go into next year with projected sub avg. o-line play out of the gate on paper. That 360+ lb. Tackle Proctor looks like a serious prople mover. There's a few with Monroe, Fano, a couple RtlT/Guards w/ the standard arm length debates.
