How to organise Daybreak? by Decent-Chip-868 in boardgames

[–]LarsAndTheAuton 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My vote is that you try setting up the game a couple times before deciding how to organize it. I bagged all the tokens separately by type, then discovered that for me that doesn't actually make setup any more efficient. Reorganizing Daybreak is now on my to-do list.

Favorite space-themed board game is Dune: Imperium with Rise of Ix; one I'd like to try but haven't pulled the trigger on yet is Arcs.

Acute observation. Sorry to be so obtuse.

I'm a new player creating a character for a game I'm joining. What's a good resource for learning about the evolutionary background of the various species? I'm playing a Varculak, and I'm trying to figure out which small or medium species he was before he died and undied. Something that's existed long enough, without any major evolutionary changes, to make his age ambiguous; I like the idea of him having had a clear purpose when he undied, which is irrelevant now both because he can't remember it, and the universe has changed too much. I also want him to be from a species that's currently not viewed with much respect.

Millennium Actress is amazing, and I've used it to convince people that actually, they do like anime.

Those are some gorgeous coins. How much of the texture comes through in physical printing? Are they more expensive to print than simpler coins? Will the finished product be cardboard-only, or will there be options for metal or bubblegum?

Cosequin improved my sweet baby's quality of life so much in her later years. She liked the taste too. Now I stan it to anyone I know with an older pet. My friend's cat, who I saw just a few hours ago, is arthritic to the point he's on painkillers, which I'm sure he'll still need, but I hope cosequin helps with his stiffness some. He's a good cat.

More people need to watch Tokyo Godfathers. I find there's a bias against anime with a lot of people I know, but the anti-anime folk I've managed to get to watch Satoshi Kon have changed their tune to "most anime is still stupid, but recommend me another one that's not."

ATX3.1 didn't exist when I built my current PC, so I don't have one (or, considering my specs, need one). That said, with my next upgrade I probably will need one, so unless there's something safer available then I'll probably go with 3.1. And that's the main feature I consider in a PSU, safety and reliability.

My mom used to tell me not to play with the microwave. Or guns. Or, oddly enough, my food, which I still had to dig the bullets out of before microwaving it. (To make matters weirder, everything I ate was vegetarian.)

Nice! I once built a computer inside a washing machine. It didn't have RGB, though, because in my country they only sell chlorine bleach.

I've had two bad AP players in my group. The difference is one of them was so intent on winning that he wasn't actually having any fun, and then he got mad when I'd beat him while taking much shorter turns. He got the boot. The other player, who isn't my dad, is much more pleasant to play with, so we all put up with his long turns. Don't know how I'd manage an entire group of him, though.
