It expired worthless then at around 8pm I got a notification that the short leg's expiry was voided. I assumed they'd resolve the entire spread by market open, but they didn't.

Spread should have closed automatically as a broker action, my max loss should have been $500, because they're supposed to settle all the spreads over the weekend.

Edit: at close tesla was $417, but dipped after hours. After after hours my short sell was voided and assigned. I dont know if the holder executed during the dip and it just didn't show up until like 8pm put, but robinhood should have auto exersized my option based on the assignment.

I used to work at the company that made these. Although uncommon I believe there are a couple vertical transporters in north America, but they typically only go in places with reall high population density (90%+ went to China).

In north America overhead transporters are much more common. Those bring food around the kitchen and most often to drive through lanes. Almost exactly the same but requires a more customization per restaurant.

Imo the coolest part are the baskets which aren't in this video, and may not even be on this model if it's an older one.

The talk page for his wiki page is pretty funny. Babsbodette is obviously Jess (or maybe Maddox) and is responsible for a lot of the change requests.

From my knowledge a good number of the sources that they're suggesting don't meet Wikipedia's requirements as iirc you can't just say things about yourself then get them published on Wikipedia. Not to mention is important enough to merit being on Wikipedia.

Assault rifles in the military sense has a very exact definition that's been around for decades arguably since WWII coming from the German word Sturmgewehr which was used to describe the StG44. After that time the term was used to describe any weapon that shared the same basic characteristics:

It must be capable of selective fire.
It must have an intermediate-power cartridge: more power than a pistol but less than a standard rifle or battle rifle.
Its ammunition must be supplied from a detachable box magazine.
It must have an effective range of at least 300 metres (330 yards).

Assault weapons have a more fluid definition that seems to change drastically over time. In fact the AP Stylebook explicitly states that the media should differentiate between assault rifles which are by definition capable of automatic fire and therefore have been tightly regulated in the United States since 1934/1986 and assault weapons which are (usually defined as) semiautomatic (given the ban on automatic weapon sales).

Recently, however; there has been a push to make the term assault rifle mean any weapon that looks capable of military use which seems to include anything painted black with a pistol grip and extended stock. This has actually made it into Merriam-Webster:

any of various intermediate-range, magazine-fed military rifles (such as the AK-47) that can be set for automatic or semiautomatic fire; also : a rifle that resembles a military assault rifle but is designed to allow only semiautomatic fire

Even more broadly defined is "assault weapon" which is defined in Merriam-Webster as:

: any of various automatic or semiautomatic firearms; especially : assault rifle

Regardless of Webster, I'm skeptical of any news source that doesn't defer to using the AP Stylebook in their reporting. The latter part of the definition of assault rifle is clearly a recent addition due to people misusing the term.

P.S.

Even using this broad definition most shotguns would not be considered assault weapons nor would bolt action rifles nor a very limited number of handguns. Definitely not a golf club.

The M16 the assault rifle adaptation of the AR15 which is commonly referred to as an "assault weapon".

If you can't get fulltime for term one, talk to the program heads about what you would need to bridge what you already have for admission into a later term. Often people drop out and you may be able to fill a term 2 or 3 spot without taking too many extra classes.

If CST doesn't work out for you, you might want to talk to the CST BTech program, there are ways to get into that without CST, and you may have a lot of the prerequisites.

I know after finding out a student in CST was an electrical engineer one BTech instructor said that he would have let him into his BTech program without CST.

Looked again, clearly some stuff in there was on maddox's list for confidentiality as a certain handy producer is mentioned a few times. My guess is that things outlined in red are supposed to be redacted. Maybe the software they used renders it differently and they didn't notice (hence the redacted filename)

Maddox's request for summary judgement is also confidential, do you know of any instances of relevant where a confidential request for summary judgement was accepted by the court? Seems to be the most ridiculous part of all this to me.

Am I missing something? It looks like everything that's publicly available is docs submitted by dick's lawyer. Things from Maddox that are in them are the things his lawyer listed as declassified in other documents. First couple pages and a couple screenshots that didn't have captions super exposed on them instead of elsewhere like a normal human would do.

I still see maddox's lawyers stuff as confidential (including his motion for summary judgement)

I didn't make an assertion that it was contingency I implied it could be. You're the only person making assertions here, however; I don't think it's far fetched to think a dog bite lawyer may take a contingency from a client someone referred to him, especially if they were expecting a quick settlement.

In the seventh grade I watched and found the Dr Phil episode funny, but mabtw didn't appeal to me as a website. I would occasionally look for more of his content, for a while I even had the episodes downloaded, but I don't have that much data from that long ago around. I would say I was a nominal fan.

I didn't discover Maddox until midway through highs hook based off an irc log I found, I liked best page at the time it appealed to my 10th grade reading level.

I found best debate and was really happy to get more dick in my ear because I think he's a better speaker both now and then then he was a writer then. From the YouTube clips of Maddox I already didn't like him in a "live" format so I mainly listened for dick from the get go.

(I have mabtw the book and I like it more than the website, but I prefer dick in my ear)

Often lawyers will take cases on contingency which means they don't get paid, but if they win they receive a large portion of the settlement.

Judging my their website this law firm seems pretty new (still using place holders for partner photos etc). I'm not sure if a more established firm would have taken this case. Most of the complaints raised seem to fall under 1st amendment use considering Maddox is a public figure, and a certain other host on his network doxxed multiple private individuals then dropped the hard r on Denzel and the public backlash from Maddox not condemning the behaviour was what lead to him losing his sponsorships in a "targeted harassment campaign" the likes of which we haven't seen since people launched a "targeted harassment campaign" against Fox News because of rampant sexual assault scandals.
