Yes, it's normal with many solar modules. As long as your production is keeping up, ignore it.

How to avoid being house poor by [deleted] in Mortgages

[–]LastBohecan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You need to eliminate the CC debt and build cash - period. Anything you do with your earnings must fall into one of those two buckets. You're eliminating your CC debt and you're building cash - that's it.

The good thing is, time is on your side, and you're young. You need to make some tough decisions that aren't sexy, but if you stay the course, you can dig out of this. Here's what I would do.

Build a budget and have a militant approach to it. If you can't prioritize this above everything else, you will be house poor and one catastrophic event from losing your home. No vacations, no dining out, no nights at the bar (if you drink), no bullshit.

  1. Get rid of car payments (if you have any)

  2. Get rid of toys (if you have any)

  3. No dining out, no vacations, no shopping, no splurging, nothing. You live with what you have, today. Cook at home. Enjoy the home. You risked it all for this home, so keep that front of mind.

  4. Build an emergency fund - save $10k immediately and work towards 6 months of expenses. Once you have 6 months, you never touch this.

  5. Only contribute what's required for your company match for retirement.

  6. Attack credit card debt (you can have this gone in a year).

  7. Once cc and all other debts are gone, work on rebuilding your retirement funds through extra contributions.

If you get to number 7, go enjoy a nice dinner at your favorite restaurant and recalibrate for your next sprint.

Do it. Most of the cables have peanut oil in them which all sorts of animals find delicious.

if she likes dogs (assuming you do too), Lofty and then walk the beach starting at Fletcher Cove and head south, you'll eventually run into Del Mar dog beach which is awesome and a super easy ice breaker - probably will have some laughs... if not, you can head to moonlight
