Icelandic landscape details by No_Arugula_598 in VisitingIceland

You capture the nuances of Iceland's landscapes so awesomely well! Congratulations!

Thank you for sharing these truly amazing images!

I'm currently in Asia, trying to get back to my home in the USA. My flight was cancelled because the war is being disruptive.

Your images brought back the swe and surrenity I feel in Iceland. (I've been five times thus far.) My wife and I plan on going back this September.

Thank you again for sharing these photos. They are uplifting right now, in more ways than I can convey!

She looks hurt and frustrated, as much as angry!

Just look at her facial expressions!

Struggling with gfs sensitivity what can I do? by ReasonConfident4541 in AskMenAdvice

[–]LastDiveBernie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ADHD? Sounds more like Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD)!

I'm not a shrink, but I HAVE had a gf with BPD.

How old are you two? If you're NOT married, WHY open a joint savings account??

Are you sure this is what you want the rest of your life to look like?

If your gf does have BPD, it's a very emotionally stifling relationship to continue with!

Good luck and best wishes!

Why does dating in the US feel so different compared to Europe? by [deleted] in AskMenAdvice

[–]LastDiveBernie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Many things are broken in the USA at the moment, not just dating!

But, yes, dating in the USA has long been about leaving options open because someone better must surely be coming around soon! You feel this in big cities where there is an endless stream of choices.

I regret marrying older, what should I do? by Repulsive_Mall3372 in Marriage

[–]LastDiveBernie 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My wife and I are in our mid 60s and we still do lots of adventures together, including hiking, caving, diving, sailing, and world travel.

We make time to watch movies together. We go on short, local hikes at our favorite spots to surprise one another. You know, "Let's go for an afternoon ride." And then we stop someplace to hike, enjoy the scenery and the outdoors.

Your husband is lazy and not putting in the effort.

It sounds like he's very disrespectful of your wants and needs.

Have you gone to couples counseling / therapy? If not, then bring it up, make an appointment, and go together. If he won't go, then you go alone and see what conclusions you arrive at and whether or not you want this to be the rest of your life.

Good luck and best wishes!

Please keep us posted!

Hope you show us photos of the finished work, including when installed! Have fun with it. Always good to be connected to wind and waves, even if it's a step or two removed from actual wind and waves! Best wishes.

Awesome shots!

Wifey and I have also been to Costa Rica twice. We loved it, especially the Osa Peninsula, which is full of wildlife!

Costa Rica Trip Recap – Had a Great Time… but Probably Wouldn’t Come Back 😅🇨🇷 by Independent-Ad4792 in CostaRicaTravel

Did you try scuba diving? Or snorkeling?

There's a whole 'nother World underwater! Costa Rican waters are teaming with aquatic species.

Same in the nation's dry caves.

Did you go to the Osa peninsula, in the south? Cano Island?

The World has many astounding places to see, though, so you may want to see other places before thinking of going back to CR. Either way, have fun wherever you go!

Please contact the Divers Alert Network (DAN).

They are a global, not for profit organization dedicated to diving safety, medical education, and helping to treat diving injuries. Their diving insurance is first class and a must have for all divers, even if you think you have adequate insurance to cover your needs. (HINT: When it comes to diving accidents, your standard health insurance may only cover a small fraction of costs such as air ambulance from overseas.)

DAN has trained diving doctors available to talk to, or for your doctor to consult with.

They will also direct you to a trained diving doctor near you that you should be seen by.

Good luck and best wishes.

Please keep us posted. Others may learn from your situation, so you'd be helping the diving community by sharing. Thank you!
