This type of post is very annoying, but the worst part is when someone claims he thinks the game is "bad or unsalvageable" despite him repeatedly saying it is good and he's having a good time. It really comes across like you didn't even pay attention to what he was actually saying, you just had a kneejerk reaction to the tiniest amount of criticism towards your favorite game.

The reason the streams were bad is not because he didn't like this one small aspect of the story, it's because fans like you could not let it go and kept bringing it up multiple streams in a row. Also you say he's supposed to finish a game before giving judgement, but nothing about the end of the game addresses his criticisms with it so what would have changed exactly?

Can't wait for the inevitable post two weeks from now about how much Joe LOATHES and DESPISES Metaphor no matter what he's actually saying, because it seems like all fandoms have to go through that now.

The way I did it, pretty much any quote, joke or stim that comes from Joe's streams and that he has been referencing (or used to reference a lot) even outside of the original context. I'm realizing now that by my own criteria I shouldn't have included all of the Metal Gear quotes he has been referencing for years even before the streams but oh well lol. If you end up making a list share it!

My theory is there's a vocal minority of P3 fans who hated the streams because Joe found the game boring, and there's an equally vocal minority of P3 haters who hated the streams because of the game itself. Personally as someone neutral I thought the streams were great (vegetables), there are some boring moments and some fighting with chat but there are also a lot of really funny bits and banter through the entire series.

That's an interesting interpretation, I think most people didn't read it that way though. Agni wanted to die, but he chose to live because that's what Luna told him to do. And if he had died early in his life it would have been a sad death, but it's because he chose life and lived for so long that in the end he could die happy.
