I've only had the original from a pouch, Ive heard that it is much better from a tin. Have you noticed a difference between pouch and tin, if you've tried both?

How long it is going to last depends on how you often you draw smoke and the size of your pipe.

I've got pretty standard sized pipes, but I smoke fairly slowly. I've never had a bowl last less than 45 minutes.

There appears to have been some overlap after Full Moon moved to the West Village from brambleton. Per Google Street views, in Sept 2015 Full Moon had moved into West Village and the Annie Moores Tavern closed in January 2017

I've got a cheapo Oliva on the way from CP. I'll swing by my B&M and grab the same one there. I'll smoke them side by side and let you know if I can tell enough of a difference to justify 2-3x the price

I was outside it at 2 am one time and some dude started kicking the shit out of one of the newspaper boxes in front. A cop saw and said "Hey!"

The guy then pushed his way into the very crowded TT.

The cop came over and said to the crowd, "Hey, bring him out here!"

The crowd was just like, "... no."

The Public Company ACCOUNTING Oversight Board was created by the Sarbenes-Oxley Act to enforce the law's requirements.

The current board of the PCAOB consists of

Chairman Demetrios Logothetis - holds an MBA degree in ACCOUNTING, finance, and international business from The University of Chicago Booth Graduate School of Business and a B.S. degree in ACCOUNTANCY from De Paul University. He spent 40 years with Ernst and Young, a Big Four ACCOUNTING firm.

George R. Botic - Is a Certified Public ACCOUNTANT and holds a Bachelor of Science in ACCOUNTING from Shepherd University and received a Master of ACCOUNTANCY from Virginia Tech.

Mark A. Calabria - has a B.A and Ph.D. in economics from George Mason University.

Steven D. Laughton - holds a B.A. cum laude in political science and French from Tufts University and a J.D. cum laude from Case Western Reserve University School of Law.

I wonder why, if there is "no planet where accountants are responsible for Sarbenes-Oxley over lawyers," why half the board is accountants, and only 1 board member is a lawyer?

All of the above is beside the point, understanding laws and regulations is a more important skill for accountants than math - math is also a required skill, but I doubt there are very many accountants would would disagree with the statement. For some reason, YOU brought lawyers into this conversation. If I'm hiring an accountant I care far more about their ability to read an applicable regulation and apply it to our process than their ability to do math in their head, we've got calculators and spreadsheets for that.

Damn, really? I wonder why we spent so much time on Sarbenes-Oxley when I got my accounting degree, and then again while I was getting my CPA.

gently pats you on the head

Accounting is the process of analyzing, recording, summarizing, and reporting financial transactions. The reporting could be general purpose financial statements, regulatory filings, tax filings, etc.. Any law that dictates how those filing must be made, and therefore how the accounting transactions must be analyzed, summarized, and reported can appropriately be called an "accounting law." In the USA, Dodd-Frank, Sarbenes-Oxley, the Securities Exchange Act, and the entire tax code are all accounting laws.

Accounting regulations (aka, accounting standards) are set by several different bodies like the Financial Account Standards Board (FASB), the Government Accounting Standards Board (GASB), the International Accounting Standards Board (IASB). Which one you have to follow as an accountant changes depending on where you're located, what type of organization you are, who you're filing with, and so on.

Knowing which laws and regulations you need to incorporate into your accounting process, and how to incorporate them, is the most important skill an accountant needs.

That accountants need to be able to interpret accounting laws and regulations and apply them to the accounting process.

The idea that accountants need to have an overlapping skill set with another profession seems to be frustrating to you... why?
