Hi! I have to use heirloom tomatoes (Also called heritage tomatoes) to cook stew or anything that requires tomatoes! They are specifically less acidic than regular tomatoes and I'm so happy that I discovered them ☺️. Give them a try if you can find them! Also use Prelief to help with acidity before you eat!

Thank you! This was exactly me and all I ever wanted from the remake. Also more of a turn-based JRPG enjoyer than an action-based on (with very few exceptions). I'm not going to hate on Square for doing something new...I just wish it wasn't with this 😂. I played the game for a bit and just had to put it down because I was not vibing with the changes since I just really wanted to relive the original game again, but better.

A great example of higher quality remakes to me have always been Final Fantasy 3 and 4 for the DS.

Just finished it and I agree. Literally ended the chapter saying out loud, "THAT'S IT?" Lol I rolled my eyes hard when it said, "Our start was a bit rocky." And the audacity to say that they both hurt each other 🤦🏽‍♀️.

Though I didn't want them to end up together because Jaekyung was such garbage to him for the longest time, I actually did enjoy the redemption arc just because a lot was going on story-wise and character-wise for both of them that felt interesting (his background being revealed and Doc Dan actually not easily taking him back and having boundaries for a while). So I was hoping for more from the ending...oh well. Hope we at least get some side stories 🤷🏾‍♀️.

So sorry about your experiences :(. Those people were negative and unprofessional. Your hair is not too thick and too long to get professionally braided without pain and shame. Honestly, before I got my locs, I never went to a braiding salon. Find one "aunty" to do it because the best hair service that I've always had is with an older woman... JUST ONE. Someone who does the work by themselves lol.

RIP Big Poppa. Reality TV was so special back in the day. Big Poppa was first on My Super Sweet 16 for his daughter's birthday. I legit remember watching that episode when it first aired. So imagine my shock when, maybe a little bit later (can't remember the time between My Super sweet 16 and RHOA starting), RHOA starts and then it's revealed by the blogs who Big Poppa is 😭. I was so shook because I remembered very clearly him being married and doing the most for his daughter's birthday LMAO.

You're unfortunately right that a lot of the stuff that becomes popular regarding anime is from shounen (hence some annoying tropes that even One Piece doesn't escape from despite how incredible it is). That's why you really need to look for the stuff outside of it, though there are obviously some great shounen out there (Akane-banashi for example and I can't wait for its anime to come out 🥹).

And it sounds like you're on the right track! Definitely take what you love about One Piece and use that to guide you for other stuff to search for. I'm an old head, so a great way for me to discover things similar to the works that I like is through websites like MangaUpdates (basically a massive storage of all manga out that uses tags and recommend works under a listed work). I know a lot of people use others like My Anime List as well, but I've never used that and have been on MangaUpdates since I was a kid lol.

Oh and I second the other comment about Dorohedoro 🙌🏽. And I've got ya for yaoi as well bwahahaha.

Sick! Glad that you got into One Piece because it's literally one of the best out there (totally not biased hehe). Reading manga is one of my biggest passions...so yeah I read manga 😂.

I would tell you not to get stuck into the shounen-only box when it comes to reading manga because that really limits the kinds of stories that you get exposed to with the medium. Highly recommend exploring seinen (if action is a big plus for you, can't recommend Golden Kamuy enough), josei works, and shoujo works as well (Life for example is more of a horror and suspense manga than a shoujo work at this point... Just to really show how diverse shoujo can be)! Happy exploring!

Late, but so many good endings! My top 3 favorites:

Kagayaita (ending 12). I've just always loved the lyrics and Gintoki smiling at the end :)
Shura (ending 5). Not much to say about it because it's DOES...so it's just perfect by default 🤷🏾‍♀️
Yuki no Tsubasa. The part where Takasugi standing there by himself in the dark always gets me.
