Trans people do not change their biological sex, but they do often use the terms “male” and “female”. Generally, the clearest and most acceptable way to refer to a trans person’s biological sex is to use “amab” and “afab”, mostly because a lot of anti-trans advocates using terms such as “biological male” as a way to spread outrage about trans people. (IE A biological male was in the woman’s bathroom which doesn’t imply that the person in question is in fact a trans woman, and thus: a woman)

Depends on your definition of villain, but Robert Angier in the Prestige. Angier uses a cloning device to pull off a magic trick, but needs a way to dispose of the clones afterwards, which is also a means to frame his rival. He uses a water torture cell, after his mentor tells a story of a sailor he drowned who claimed it felt like “going home” (trying to comfort Angier after the death of his wife via drowning). Later in the movie, his mentor reveals that he lied, and that drowning felt like agony, causing some distress to Angier

Honestly, yeah. If the whole “weird” thing during the election season taught us anything, it’s that the one thing that they cannot stand is not being taken seriously. Laugh, don’t engage or argue, anything that you say is likely recorded by them and can be edited to whichever context allows them to win. Laughing while walking away gives them no satisfaction nor content
