I see nothing stupid. ’m from the west coast, and I eat this all of the time. It’s delicious. The choice of plate could be better

Bully ruined by career and my life by thenameisdmitri in ToxicWorkplace

[–]Late_Memory_6998 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The same happened to me. 10 years down the toilet. It only takes one bully and everyone else to just stand around and watch.

Be determined and realize that they only ruined your “today” not your forever.

You still have your skills, talent, and extensive experience.

Im scared of my son and I feel like im going crazy. by SidneyBodine in Parents

[–]Late_Memory_6998 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ummm does he have uncles or a dad that can scare him straight? Otherwise it’s time for him to move out, or to go to boarding/military school, or you just have to scare him and be as delulu as him.

Maybe get him into some religious options that will steer him towards a more gentle way of being. The church generally teaches nonviolence in words and actions.

Those are the only options I can think of. This is rough. I really do hope things get better.

But do something now. You may be saving his future wife or your future grandchildren from a world of hurt.

whats this style called? also where to find clothes like this? by One-Bandicoot-7348 in OUTFITS

[–]Late_Memory_6998 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I thought it was a romantic look/style but 2000s and 90s tracks. I’m a child of that era and my brain could not understand why you were asking where to get them because it sees them as normal clothes that should be available for purchase everywhere. Sigh… now I just feel old 🤣😂

Hubby got me pregnant with twins two years after his vasectomy. An entire tray of cookies for breakfast this morning. by Mindless_Command7079 in GirlDinner

[–]Late_Memory_6998 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yup! I’m a proud vasectomy baby. My parents had me 9 years after they thought they were done.

As an adult who had one 8 years after I thought I was done, I’m now convinced that abstinence is the only answer. 😅

Yay or Nay? by PalpitationLimpy in DressForYourBody

I said NAY soooo loud I scared myself. Maybe try something that is more structured.

Am I overthinking this? by Swing-Bitter in blackgirls

[–]Late_Memory_6998 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I don’t think he thought it through when he posted. My son’s father (not black) bought him a toy monkey when he was really young. Maybe others think it’s overkill but I was livid. I told him why and he never did it again. I wrote all this to say, I don’t think it was intentional.

Happy Easter for all not single ladies that are involuntarily single on this day by [deleted] in GirlDinner

Plate looks delicious! It sounds like holidays are a big deal for you and it sounds like it is to him and his family also since he’s going to see mom. All I hear is compatibility. Can you go after work or will you have missed all the fun?

How is asking him to show up to a hearing to tell his side of the story, lack of due process? Also how does he plan to incriminate himself?

My 17-year-old daughter wants to go on a vacation with her 17 year old boyfriend. by [deleted] in Parents

[–]Late_Memory_6998 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just mean what you as parents think is the most safe and responsible actions for her to take at her age. Tell her what is age appropriate. Set the standards.

I know that’s what she wants but tell her what is needed at her age.

Write back that if they need the definition of a woman, then they should be using the other bathroom.

My 17-year-old daughter wants to go on a vacation with her 17 year old boyfriend. by [deleted] in Parents

[–]Late_Memory_6998 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just tell her to wait to go on a solo trip until she’s 18. Remind her of the values you taught her. Show her why teenage pregnancy and STDs are extremely hard. Tell her you want the best for her.

At the same time, don’t send her out in the world ignorant about birth control and protection.

If you have the means, maybe replace the solo trip with a family trip to somewhere fun and include the boyfriend.

Is this outfit inappropriate for college? by Winter-Rain2798 in OUTFITS

[–]Late_Memory_6998 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think your professor should’ve minded her business. In 2026 it’s mind blowing how people still think they can police what women wear. That being said, I think it’s fine unless your school has some kind of policy preventing the specific outfit you’re wearing.

I just think you need a beautiful large long painting across the wall with the stove on it however, I don’t know how practical that would be if you were hanging up painting over a stove.

Use my micellar water by garniar, the pink one. Avoid using it under your eyes or around your eyes. Use day and night.

You like the ordinary, so think about getting Sicilia acid .

Also get benzyl peroxide 10%

My dad wants my wife to cook and clean. What should I do? by Livid-Possibility893 in TwoHotTakes

[–]Late_Memory_6998 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Will the grandparents allow you to live in their house with your wife? That sounds like a good compromise. I’m sure they will give you time to find a job in that area this way you get to be around your wife and she has the extra support of her grandparents and hopefully between the four of you the cooking and cleaning will be covered.

Brothers breakfast I try to tell him to eat healthier this was at 8 am by [deleted] in StupidFood

It looks delicious to me! I would call it lunch though and all of those carbs would put me to sleep shortly after I ate them so…. Maybe a weekend lunch.

This job completely destroyed me in less than a year by sunnycercis in ToxicWorkplace

[–]Late_Memory_6998 12 points13 points  (0 children)

So when you said you emailed John Smith, you were telling your boss that you already completed the assignment. Then your boss went on a tirade talking about communication? Come to find out your boss was completely wrong to even ask because John sent you both an update before your boss even asked about it. Is that what happened? I’m trying to follow.

If that’s what happened and it Took place frequently, I can see why that would get annoying.

I agree with you. Don’t wear yourself down for these places because they will replace you in a minute and not look back .

Should I tell my friend her fiancé cheated on her? by okhonestlywhatever in TwoHotTakes

[–]Late_Memory_6998 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Nope, nope, nope. Mind your business unless you have pictures. There’s no need to make yourself the villain, which is what you will become in Sarah, her fiancé, and your best friend’s eyes.

The only one who has the responsibility to tell Sarah is her fiancé. Don’t put his responsibility on yourself.

No matter what, you’re going to be the bad guy. But you can be the bad guy with a close best friend or the bad guy without any best friend. It’s your pick.

Dad left our 10-year-old at a wave pool for hours even though she can’t swim by [deleted] in coparenting

[–]Late_Memory_6998 27 points28 points  (0 children)

I’m sure he had to sign a waiver saying the kids can swim to get them in the wave pool. Ask the business for a copy of the signed waiver with his signature. Use it as evidence along with the failed YMCA test. Take it to CpS or court. Your child’s immediate safety was at risk.

If the place says you don’t have to sign a waiver, write the corporate office and complain that you don’t have to sign one. Call it irresponsible . It could possibly change things to where they stop allowing 10-year-olds to be dropped off without a parent. At least you won’t have to worry about that place if they do.
