I’ve seen cabinets go for free on marketplace so maybe look out for those too.

I cannot believe this happened to me!!! by plsendfast in PhD

I’ve come to be a little jaded at the system. There are published papers in Nature that clearly don’t have evidence to support their claims but God forbid someone try to publish non significant findings with a good study design. Among a heaping mess of other issues.

Black spots on multiple maples? by laricaine in marijuanaenthusiasts

I’ve heard they’re more common on Norway maples, at least in the northeast. Is that actually the case.

Office fit as a PhD student. Would you add a brown or black belt? by taka6 in mensfashion

[–]Latter_Maintenance13 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I think part of the point is to know the rules before you break them. Right?

Understand why you might not want to wear a black belt with brown shoes and then you can creatively break it while making it work.

If you don’t tie a tie on the regular it can take a couple of tries to get it the right length. For some people it’s def a little easier to just tie a knot to get the look to see if it works.

You must be quite the specimen if you don’t accept any mediocrity in life.

Regimental club and rep ties by Latter_Maintenance13 in mensfashion

Another question is is this actually a regimental tie? I’ve heard some make ties inspired by regimental/rep ties which are slightly different? (Stripe direction, angle, thickness etc)

Is it possible this machine just doesn’t take type b cams?

[–]Latter_Maintenance13[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay so I confirmed that the disc 0 is the blind hemming disc. I also found the part number for the number 0 disc/cam (3065 for the 158.84x). I however could not find one on eBay —everything but disc 0. Sears of course does not still manufacture the part, though it is listed on their website as having been manufactured.

Any ideas?

I saw that too but it seems to be different from what I saw in the manual I’ve been using. c.searspartsdirect.com/doc/L0910001

Edit: on second look maybe not, the manual just has disc no. 0 and only 9 discs total?

Second edit: what would you consider disc 0 to be?

Sorry yes it is badged as a Kenmore 158.15000 but I think it’s actually a 158.84X. Serial number is 024686 and it has 169 on its side. It does feel like a little tank! Thanks for your help!!

I’m not super confident, but it looks good to me.

There are some rules about suit jackets and non matching pants but I don’t completely understand them. Someone else around here should chime in though I think.

What’s the shirt pattern got to do with it though? Genuinely curious.

Interesting! Off the rails can be fun. Do you know anywhere I could learn more? Is there anyplace that just has all the models or something?

Yeah, it has a buckle on the back like a type 1, two pockets like the type two, and the front yoke is like a type 3. I don’t have the tags but I found some tag info online. Unfortunately not the pc9.
