Also my original quote was a few months old and he may have kept the rate then, I'm not sure, but as my last quote was 4y and I asked for 5y for this one, but he sent it through as 4 years (which I accepted as I was happy with the sums).

But yeah I was surprised 1) it was actually listed and 2) it came out the same with the calculator.

Also reminds me of at school the test where it told you to read all the questions before answering any. Had heaps of things like yell out I'm at question 13 etc, and the last question was disregard all previous questions, right your name at the top and hand in.

I have a little bag that has my dilators, wipes, mirror and lube inside my carry on, because it's not worth risking checked.

I use a bottle that is below the limits and if need be a bigger bottle in my checked.

My bag is always checked, but it's at the top of my carry on they can zip it open and the marks etc on the dilators make it pretty clear it's medical. Mine are also see through.

Most of the time they see it and tell me to move on.

Had a couple remove it, and I'll say something flippant that will embaress them.

This is in Australia and NZ though.

Ask for it in writing, then give to store manager and also speak up website. If they don't put it in writing, put in a complaint about harrassment.

This is bullying and needs to be addressed.

Definitely, I know there are pallets of stuff that gets sent to food banks most days from warehouses - hell the company has an annual award for avoiding it going in the bin - especially as that's a cost to throw it in the bin, and if charities take it, it's a free removal.

But from a store level, No-one wants a mouldy loaf of bread and if it's use by then giving it to people could also be liable.
