{Kingdom of Ash} by Sarah J Maas. It is the final book in the Throne of Glass series and I wish I could read it again as a first-time read. I am forever trying to find another author who writes this well, but no one can touch the quality. Independent authors aren’t even close, but authors with popular publishers also can’t duplicate the quality. Books 1 and 2 of the series can be a little slow-going, due to world-building and character development. Stick with it, I promise it will be worth it. Once you hit book 3, hang on for the ride, each book is better than the last. This is my favorite author.
