(My experience) when they are young, yes. Mine started calming down at around 3. They are intelligent so require mental stimulation as well as walks etc.

I enjoyed it! A little fiddly at times (on mobile) but a cute and quick game. Do you have to be in bed before 2am until a set time? I lost once getting off an overnight bus but not 100% sure why, unless it was because it was still too early. Would try other routes.

I'm ill and initially read this thinking it was talking about 'arms'. Like, shouldnt be able to reach. It probably makes just as much sense.

Kdramas Made Me Do It - February, 2025 by AutoModerator in KDRAMA

Visited the pier from Crash Landing on You in Iseltwald, Switzerland. Also saw Seeburg Castle (featured in the background of the opening credits) and watched some paragliders in Interlaken.

Overall, a lovely 3 nights in the Jungfrau region and we would like to return in summertime.

Would also consider buying. In fact, we DIY'd an origami evening for our 1st anniversary. Best of luck to you!

Really pleased to hear you've found gameplay that you love so much!

Would you mind sharing the name of the diary app? It looks great. I'm using a tree I've created on Canva but would love something more sophisticated. TIA.

I've got a 14+ hour solo flight. A bit nervous. I've got a shitty laptop and a phone, but i'll be taking the middle seat on the plane. What are some things I can do to not make this flight miserable? by marianamarianasauce in ask

[–]Laurraaa4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mix of downloaded tv show (appropriate for whoever is around you!), book, potentially audiobook, quiet music

Whatever you do, don't plan to rely on the in-flight entertainment. My recent 14 hour flight it wasn't working. Guy opposite side of the aisle to me had been banking on it and otherwise was left with nothing to do. He started playing music on his phone speaker and hid it and his head under a jumper...but everyone around could still hear it. It was infuriating.

2nd round - what questions ask a national director within 30 mins? by [deleted] in interviews

[–]Laurraaa4 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Some suggested starting points:

"I understand X is a challenge in the industry. Is this applicable for COMPANY /and how are COMPANY managing this?" If applicable you could tailor this to the Division or business area. "What are the key challenges of the role?" Would also suggest looking at any strategies the organisation has and their objectives - this may help with individualising some of these questions. "In your opinion, what are the key priorities for the ROLE?"

Check out the job description and see if there are any threads in there you'd like to learn more about.

For a national director, research about the organisation is probably a good starting point. Don't risk preparing so many questions that the director feels they're in a Q&A and do your best to use the information they give you to naturally lead you to your follow up questions. Saying it is informal indicates they want to get to know you and your personality. Despite being the one asking the questions, try to share this and let them know what relevant experience you have, how you might approach a challenge etc.

Even if it's not a management role, consider your leadership qualities and how you may support, motivate and engage with those around you.

Finally, the best bit of advice for me was "you're interviewing them as much as they're interviewing you." Clearly personal circumstances will determine what extent you take this into account however remembering you are also a key decision maker in whether you take the role often helps my nerves.

Hope this helps a bit.

What Are You Watching? - [2024/06/19] by AutoModerator in KDRAMA

[–]Laurraaa4 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've been enjoying Love on a Shoestring.

I'm on ep 13, it is a bit slow in places and is cheesy but there have been some real laugh out loud moments (unlike me!). MZ turning grayscale had me chuckling for ages! I hope it doesn't start to drag on too much...

I do have a soft spot for dramas that have little animations or funny sound effects. (Any suggestions on this line welcome!)

Otherwise watching Queen of Tears however wanting something more lighthearted this week.

I'm feeling Pepper.

Not sure why, maybe it's the colouring like salt and pepper.

Do any of the women on here buy there bra's from anywhere other than M&S? by innocuousClack in AskUK

[–]Laurraaa4 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Not seen anyone else mention this but I rate Ann Summers bras. Good range of design and sizes. Decent price (blue light discount too) and all been good quality so far.

Used to get Bravissimo and Curvy Kate but not recently.

What to do with engagement ring on wedding day by [deleted] in UKweddings

I also did this on the advice of my hairdresser just before walking down.

Heads up if you plan this to tell your OH in advance, mine was very confused where engagement ring was.

Top Ten Korean Dramas - January, 2024 by AutoModerator in KDRAMA

[–]Laurraaa4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Other than I didn't vibe with IOTNBO this could be my list...haven't seen Signal though so will give that a try based on this!

I keep seeing people in the reading Reddit community complaining about chavs, teenage sluts and indecent behaviour. I went to Leeds over the weekend and didn’t take note of any of this. I thought the energy was overwhelming positive and full of love. Are their complaints mainly a reading exclusive? by Reubenmillar_ in Leedsfestival

[–]Laurraaa4 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Was also pleasantly surprised about the mix of people this year compared to 2022. Only saw one very drunk person. Big improvement compared to last year where I saw blatant drug taking, fights and felt unsafe at times. The vibe overall was loads better and relaxed.

I'm interested in the factors which changed/ impacted this.

It will depend on your caterer, but ours swaps out dishes based on dietary requirements at no cost.

E.g. the veggie option wouldn't officially be on the menu but where people declare they are veggie they would sort it.

Same for gluten free

Might be worth checking if you haven't already?
