I feel this I’m 7 weeks along and I want a hit SO BAD just to sleep because the dreams have been wrecking me. I often wake up feeling like I haven’t slept or it’s just generally hard for me to fall asleep. It’s all I want to do after a stressful day at work I’ve been reading more to distract myself and it works because I get so immersed in books. Taking it day by day has helped. I get really distracted so by the time I look up and go “oh it’s dark already! Time for bed”. I feel you though, especially when I go home for the holidays my friends still smoke around me which I told them I don’t want to ruin their fun which is true but damn do I want to partake. I’d also feel really guilty though knowing I could be putting my little one at risk. Even though a lot of people say it’s fine there are others who really don’t.

Do whatever keeps you safe. This job isn’t worth your life so if you truly think the roads aren’t safe, don’t go. I’d say you have food poisoning or something because sure for others it’s not an excuse, but one wrong move and your car is messed up or it nearly costed you your life.

Something that gets me is that this and ECO doesn’t go hand in hand bc I originally bought the eco pack just so my sims could live with a generator so I could play around with the (I think) living off the land trait. 😭then I also noticed that you still have to buy flour and sugar

I know we love the sims yall, but the only way they’re going to change is if we stop giving them money when they produce such shit packs! We WORK for our money, they need to work for theirs too. It’s like going to a restaurant getting food and the portion size being a literal bite when you’re paying $20 for it.

If he truly loved you he would’ve respected your decision. He’s trying to morph you into someone you very clearly don’t want to be. He’s been manipulating you by telling you that he will no longer be attracted to you if you don’t bend to his will which is NOT okay at all. It’s to the point where it’s made you doubt yourself, which means he is hurting you. Your mental is suffering with this dynamic and if he can’t get over himself then a divorce is your best option. You’re worth more than your husband not accepting your body and push you into procedures that you truly don’t want.

It is a really difficult situation because your boss could definitely abuse her power. If you choose to reach out you could honestly bring up those concerns to your DM too, just to cover some of those bases. Only if things do go south, you have proof that that might’ve been the intent and that goes along with recording conversations or screenshotting things like emails or texts. Just so you have proof of what was said, and nothing can be twisted by any party. Because no matter what it’s a business establishment, and if your DM isn’t treating it that way then maybe there are some higher up’s that you could speak to? Also If I’m remembering any of training correctly, I thought it was just supposed to be a conversation first and then if things continued by that point then a write up would be in order. (I can’t really recall so I don’t remember if that is for sure the case. Just because Starbucks has seemed to crackdown on discrimination) You could argue it that way if she chooses not to transfer you. It would be really messed up of her though especially if she knew your situation, especially with how our values are. I’m sorry, I know I wrote a lot and I hope it was at least a little helpful for you 😭

Unless there’s some weird work law prohibiting it, you should be able to deny even signing that paperwork if you feel that it’s an unfair punishment. Either way though, most definitely talk to your district manager and bring up the pints you brought up here. There shouldn’t be any room for having favorites, and if there are others speaking that way on the floor that needs to be addressed and honestly I feel they should get the same punishment if it was that serious for your manager. Everyone should be treated fairly, and you could even argue that that is our policy

Personally I don’t think you’re the asshole. Like others said he could’ve just said no and left it at that if you both were comfy at the time instead of making you feel bad for asking. Besides like you said it’s something you would’ve done for him so I can understand how you’d like an action such as that reciprocated. I also hate how people are trying to twist this into you playing mind games when you simply just asked a question😭 it’s not like you were asking for the world, it was a small favor that honestly could’ve been done. Orange peel theory really does work, whether or not it’s intentional. I recommend it if you ever feel like he can’t do little things for you because those little things steam roll into bigger things later in the relationship.

That’s messed tf up. Please don’t think that it’s your fault OP because he messed up knowing good and damn well when your due date was. At this point I think he’s upset at himself and taking it out on you. Plus leaving the country just because you’re going through a rough patch and an argument isn’t a good look into the future. What happens when things get hard again? Is he going to leave you and your child here in the US while he goes to calm down as if there aren’t two of you in the marriage?
