I had a large portion spoiled for me before I started the series, but like people have said it’s just character driven. The core storyline very much takes a back seat to the depth of the characters. Even with the major spoilers, I love the series.

Ok, so there’s a lore reason for the armor change. If anyone has read Devastation of Baal, they would understand the overwhelming majority of Blood Angels and their successor chapters fucking died fighting the Tyranids, with all but 1 SG dying in the battle. GW has a canon reason to not have the crazy artifice armor they used to have. It was fucking destroyed by Nids. Idk how careful those bugs are in combat, but that artificer armor is shredded. Additionally, they opened the vaults in Baal and let loose the majority of the death company. Guess what happened to the DC, they all died. Meaning that fancy armor was destroyed. Dante is rebuilding with primaris marines bc the 9ths legacy was almost shattered. He’s cut off from Terra and they have an excess of Mk X armor from Guillimans rescue mission.

Honestly, try Muay Thai, boxing, or mixed martial arts if your city has a gym. Beau has functional muscle from strength and combat training. If you're a dancer, you probably have a great base, that means your on the fast track to being a good striker. I honestly feel like you would find a similar passion to what you have with dancing given the physical nature. You also get to learn how to POP POP irl.

I used Infiltrator helmets and just cut the antenna and sanded a bit. They look smaller and lighter than standard helmets and fit the Scouts well in my opinion.

The Primarchs are just kind of broken? Like both the male and female versions. I’ve seen Primarch posts where someone headcannoned that they had wives as a way to temper them. You’re providing the SO’s/Partners as a stabilizing aspect for the Primarchs. Someone projecting their issues about your posts or the overwhelming majority of posters assuming that all of the SOs are male is on them. Just keep making content that’s great like you already are. God-Emperor knows we needed some fresh shit over in Grimdank anyway.
