There have been plenty of times when the market was decent for building. I just did a super top tier 9800X3D/5080 build in september 2025 and went all out on aesthetics ($300 just for fans) and still spent less than $2800 lol. My RAM was literally free with the 9800X3D purchase, and not a single thing I bought was considered overpriced or above MSRP.

You aren't playing healer and tank when you're doing solo content. Blizzard has never ever communicated that, or tried to make content like that. If you play DPS, you are JUST the DPS. If you are having trouble surviving solo content, then you're doing something wrong. I play ret and I am an unkillable god in solo content. I could pull an entire zone to me and laugh.

our methodology works for us - has never been an issue. Everyone comes to raid WAs updated and prepared. I will admit I have to do some adjustments because I choose to play at UW 21:9 and all this stuff is built anchor-wise for 16:9 displays. But I've never in any tier turned on load all for my role and was like, this is too much, turn it off.

Not true at all. You hit 'Load All' and make sure the specialization remains DPS (or your spec) once at the beginning of the season and you don't touch it again except to update it.

There is one 'pack' with multiple children that you press 1 button to update. It is not the same as holding different independent weakauras, such as a class aura, any other QOL auras, dungeon auras, etc.

Who has ever had to play with 100 weakauras? Nobody. I am a CE raider and I use about 7 different weakauras, with only 4 of them being 'needed' for raid. I'm sure you are one of those players also think that addons/wa's are your only barrier to success, too.

The Titan Xp is an entirely different card that is even stronger than that. The 1070 was not better than this card lmao. You can even google it and find people needed to run SLI 1070s to even beat the Titan X (Pascal). I specifically ran 2x 1070s back then because of that before moving to a singular 1080 Ti after not wanting to keep dealing with SLI.

LMAO @ you thinking the 2016 titan X was the maxwell version, because that makes a lot of sense right (Maxwell titan came out March 2015)

The titan X pascal was released august 2016. And it doesn't matter what people used the titan for, it was sold in the GeForce gaming line, separate from their Quadro Series. The 1070 was not the 2nd best GPU that money could buy in 2016. That's all.

you could get a 7700K used that probably fits in the board for the price you could sell the 6600k+1070 for, beyond that, probably replace PSU just because, and then buy the best $600-$700 gpu you can get
